Juan is the worst most disrespectful bouncer.
My friend and I went to the club on a Saturday around 1 am. We each paid 10 euro. The vibe was nice, everyone was dancing, we were there for about 10 minutes. We were club hopping though and decided to meet our friends in Liedseplein about 10-15 minute walk away.
We decided to return two hours later to this club which we had already paid.
As we had walked toward the club, we stepped on the curb. And immediately the bouncer Juan said "you're too drunk, you cannot get in."
We proceeded to then have a conversation, and he could not tell me why I could not get in besides saying "you're too drunk." I proceeded to step on the curb repeatedly to show I was not that intoxicated. Of course, you are in amsterdam and you are going to have drinks. But I was far from being intoxicated and belligerent, in fact I was nearly sober.
Juan, the bouncer, just seemed to be tired of tried to explain himself, and out of no where he told me to "f ** off." I had not used profanity this whole conversation, and I was completely shocked.
The bouncers then proceeded to become aggressive, and then they started to come toward me. I was backing away, and then I was pushed by the other bouncer. Luckily I did not fall because I was already backing away. This is the first time in my life I have been treated by bouncers like this.
After being in Amsterdam for one week, this is by far the worst nightclub/bar I have been to. Terrible bouncers and staff here. read more
