The veggie menu isn't extensive, but it's complete enough. My first night in Horta, I was forced to eat this nasty salad at a touristy cafe. My travel companion and I have eaten here twice in one day. He's a meat eater. He had a chicken/sliced apple sandwich on fresh baked bread. He loved it. The second time he had a vegan dish, a bean casserole served with rice and kale. He also loved it. I had a blended vegan soup twice. Excellent. We've now tried three of the teas: all great. Prices are cheap. Atmosphere is laid-back. There are one or two roaming cats, courtesy of the owner, that will probably come to your table to say hello. They serve alcohol.
