Friendly service, heated outdoor seating, and free wifi (well, when it's working). They bring around great little snack trays (borrel hapjes) of local sausages, good cheeses and pickles, etc. The outside seems to attract some of the local shoppers (it's located at the Southern end of two main shopping streets) while the inside seems to be a mix of younger hipsters and older locals, all drinking in harmony. They have short menu, which I haven't tried, but if its like the free appetizers, it will be simple but wholesome fare. It's small, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups, but its definitely "gezellig" and the staff and owners clearly care about high quality food, drinks and service.

I was sweating down the back of my head wearing t-shirt! And it was chilly outside. Good food and bar menu. Huge beach in the front. Can get very busy on weekends and tourist season. Even in this post corona lockdown it was busy with a lot of Dutch and German tourists. All are welcome!!
