Great lunch option for Somme Cemeteries and Battlefields…read moreThis is a great spot for lunch if you are visiting the cemeteries and battlefields of the Somme. We stumbled across this little cafe on a Sunday afternoon and we were so grateful to find it open at a time when the rest of France seems to be closed. We had a lovely lunch with a wonderful pot of tea and a great time chatting to owners Alison and Jon who know a lot about the area!

On top of scrumptious looking pastries (cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies...) as well as savory (which I did not try), this place offers a variety of interesting teas. I had the "Bushwick" tea and enjoyed every drop. As a tourist I was happy to find out one of the owners (Melanie) speaks English and was very helpful! Bonus, free wifi! It is also very well located. Overall, it's a very cute family run business and I will be back before I leave!
