I thought it was good, but not better than some other apple pies I have had in the city. Bitterballen was good. Fried, very savory, and full of meat, can't go wrong with that combination. At the time we were here, there was only one person serving the entire café. Given that, I think he did a pretty good job with everything. Definitely worth the experience coming here! The beers I tasted were without exception novelty beers, with overly fruity, herby or bitter tastes. Get your pilsener right and other basics right, first! The food however was excellent. Troost has gone full vegetarian on their burgers and this was the first time in my life I tasted that vegetarian burger replacements have a future. Texture and flavours were spot on. Wouldn't mind coming back for the burgers and will accept that the beers are not as I would like them.

He went to another table and took thier order. He still didn't even acknowledge. I kept cool! Respectful, I kept looking around wondering if another waiter would come. No other!
