This Cafe was recommended by the hotel I was staying in, they opened at 10 and we arrived there around 9:30, so we waited and once we sat in this lovely Cafe we learned that their chef had not arrived, the lady in charge not sure if the owner was very dear, so was the waiter but the truth is that we wanted a nice breakfast to take us to our day and this was not something that was found here. We ended up having a hot chocolate with a side of toast. The chef did arrive but we were already full . The presentation of the hot chocolate and toast was very nice. I would probably give this place another chance in the near fu

The place is adorable but the food is okay. I went for lunch and ordered the menu del dia. The hummus with vegetable plate was good but nothing special. That being said my polenta dish was tasty and filling. The chocolate cake for dessert was bland and dry, but the waiters were friendly and the ambiance was great. I would definitely go back for a coffee and an appetizer.

    We devoured the hummus!

Cute, girly cafe. Goat cheese, date and arugula bocadillo was really tasty. Couldn't get onto wifi and plugs didn't work to charge my phone.

Excellent good and service with a vibrant ambience! Great place for tapas in Barcelona!…read more Saturday night - there will be a line out the door. Don't hesitate, put your name down and you'll soon be seated. Menus are available in Spanish, Catalan and English and the staff speaks fluent English. We sat at the bar and ordered the Spanish potato omelette, manchego cheese, ham, chorizo and Iberico ham with bread assortment. Followed this with the traditional potato omelette, grilled octopus, and shrimp skewers. All the food was fresh and delicious. Portions are decent so we had to skip dessert. I was told by a fellow patron that their French toast is very good. Well, next time!

My husband and I split everything to each be able to get a taste. We're not 100% sure the exact names of what we ordered, but everything was good. The cappuccinos were awesome and exactly what we needed for a long day of walking. The pastries were even better! One was cheese and chocolate, and the other cheese and jam. The empanadas were also great- we had one pollo and one carne. The carne was especially good! The sandwich- Jamon, tomate y huevo, was good, but I think my husband liked it more than I did. Overall I definitely recommend this spot for a great bite!

They're light, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of cream, truly irresistible. And if you're a chocolate lover, their chocolate version is equally divine (you might just need to get both, trust me). But my absolute favorite treat here is the pan dulce con manzana. The buttery layers, the delicate apple slices caramelized just right, and the subtle sweetness make it the perfect pastry. Pair it with a strong espresso and you've got the ideal way to start your morning in Barcelona. The best part? You don't have to stop at breakfast. I always recommend grabbing one of their fresh bocadillos en pan casero to enjoy later in the day, or picking up one of their panes artesanos to savor at home, simple, rustic, and delicious even on their own. Forn Puiggròs isn't just a bakery, it's a ritual. Go in the morning, enjoy something sweet with your coffee, and leave with bread that will make the rest of your day even better.

There were six of us, so we kind of caught them by surprise, but the staff didn't miss a beat. They took good care of us with friendly and efficient service. Overall, Forn is a great little spot near Sagrada Familia for breakfast, and I recommend it if you're in the area.
