This sweet cafe is actually a lot bigger than it appears to be. The coffee was good. The spinach wrap was good. Surprisingly the best thing I had there was the chili sauce that came with the spinach wrap. They have dinners on weekends, I would definitely want to give that a try!

Over 20 years ago, as a fledgling pilot, I was working for an aircraft sales company in Florida,…read morewhich was owned by a Brazilian man. It was then that I was introduced to Brazilian food, namely Rodizio. I simply love the concept and have eaten at a wide range of Churrascaria restaurants around the World. On a recent trip to Frankfurt, to celebrate finally getting our permits to return to Dubai, I decided to treat my colleague to dinner. Having worn out the German food scene, I did a search and found that Rodizio Grill was only a short walk from our hotel. Not knowing how busy they'd be, I emailed them and sent them a WhatsApp to reserve a table for 8PM. Arriving at the restaurant, which was tucked away on a neighborhood side street, I first noticed that the place was empty. I thought to myself that maybe people ate later than 8PM in Germany, but anyway, we went in a sat down. We were greeted by a lovely lady from Georgia, the country, not the state, who was energetic and genuinely excited to see her first, and as we found out later, only customers for the evening. I was a little concerned about the freshness of the food, as generally, the more people dining, the fresher the food, but I was amazed at the quality of the entire meal. If you've ever been to a Rodizio restaurant, you'll know that they usually have a well-stocked salad bar. I've often thought of this as a means to get you to fill up before the meats start coming around, but tonight, do the Covid-19, the salad bar was closed. Instead, they brought out a beautiful platter of sides, including rice, feijoada, bread rolls, fried bananas, grilled vegetables and my favorite, farofa. Then, the chef started bringing out the grilled meats. It was a full complement, including picanha, chicken, linguiça, lamb, ribs, and so much more. Every one, hot off the grill and oh so delicious. After eating until we were practically in what I like to call 'meat coma', we sat at the bar chatting with the staff, enjoying a few drinks and they even shared some of their homemade Serbian Rakija. All I can say is, it was a wonderful evening of good food, excellent service and meeting new friends. The Rodizio Grill has been around for 20 years and remains the only Brazilian restaurant in Frankfurt. With the Covid-19 pandemic, they are struggling to survive. It would be a shame for this amazing restaurant to close, so please stop in for dinner. You will not be disappointed. Tell them Bad Monkey Touring sent you.

We were able to make reservations a day before and were there right when theh opened. They had a decent salad/veggie selection. Once more people came, the meat started coming. The chorizo, roast beef and the chicken legs/hearts were good, but very salty. The pork and the ribs were sub par. Bland and dry. The breads they gave us were also stale. The fried bananas and fresh chips were also good. The margarita was good, drinks were cold, and the waitress would come whenever we needed them, but the meat server stopped coming to us after the first round of cuts, even though we had the green sign up. After waving him down a few times, then he started coming back to us. For nearly 30 euros a person, i would have like to have seen more options, like a good steak option. If they add a meat or two and ease up on the salt, it would be perfect. Worth coming back and trying it again

This place is well worth you learning some German ordering phrases so you blend in perfectly with…read morethe locals. This place in the morning seems to fill up fast with reservations, so we made sure we arrived a half hour after it opened. You come in, and basically seat yourself if you can find a table that is open. Menus should already be on the table, but ask if you need them. Again, learn some German and ask if the waiter or waitress can speak English. We were lucky that our waiter did speak English well enough to order. They do have English menus, but thanks to Google Translate, we ordered from the German one. Since I knew how to speak in German, I ordered for my husband an omelette with cheese and tomatoes, and I decided to try their homemade pancakes, which was actually a crepe with their "buffet" jam. The buffet was literally a shelf along the wall with all different kinds of homemade and store brand jams. Each was more spectacular than the next! Excellent choice for something different on the menu. My hubby's omelette was super yummy and flavorful. The service was not rushed in any way, and the vibe here is very relaxed and laid back. We could tell people were truly enjoying themselves and not rushing to go run off to do something else. If you don't have time to kill, this might not be your place. Great food; great location; great for us!

Bunca doesn't have wifi, but they do have a lovely sitting area in the back that wasn't too crowded when I was there. I considered buying coffee beans in my way out, but by then, a line had formed out the door! From my brief experience, Bunca's popularity is totally deserved!

I got a flat white here and it came in one of the most beautiful cups I have ever seen. It kind of made my day (that and the great taste of the coffee). My only complaint about this place is its lack of wifi. I understand why cafes often do this, but as a person who works from cafes, it is difficult for me to settle in and visit cafes without wifi frequently. In an area like WBP though, it is probably best to not offer wifi as they can keep business and seats turning over more frequently. Nevertheless, I will be back here often every time I am in the area. They take pride in their coffee and customer service and places like this are not easy to come by.

This place is amazing. Even though it is at a relatively major intersection, sitting outside is gorgeous. Beyond just the setting, the food is absolutely incredible. Everything they have out looks good, but it was some of the best food I've had in a long time. It is all quite simple, but really well done. I had a spinach, eggplant and feta quiche, which came with a side salad. The salad was incredible. It was just lettuce, shredded curlicues of zucchini and cherry tomatoes with some concentrated balsamic and pepper, but the simplicity worked. The quiche was also delicious. I also had an iced coffee (real iced coffee!), and the coffee was perfectly made - not bitter, just a little bit naturally sweet and fruity. To end, I decided to get a piece of apple blueberry crumble, which was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream (homemade, I think) with cinnamon. The crumble serving was huge, but I could have kept eating it. And the total was only 7.60 euros. Amazing. So Sugar Mama is highly recommended not just for cakes and sweets, but also for their savory food. I was absolutely blown away.
