Really wonderful meal - friendly service that wanted to give you a great time and the chance to try…read moregreat wines. Food was a demonstration of a small but curated menu of simple but perfect combination and cooking of fantastic ingredients. Perfect for a group, a date, or with friends. Loved the ability to get good wine by the glass.

We actually ordered a montepulciano d'abbruzzo from a favorite producer of ours. All of the food was beautiful and fairly creative. We started with the bruschetta featuring cherry tomatoes, which were cut in half so as not to explode in your mouth (I hate that!) and they were perfectly ripe. Probably the first tomatoes of the season? Olive oil and I could swear also butter on the crostini. Yum. We also had the green bean salad with anchovies and nuts. Turns out the anchovies were just anchovy paste, which lent a rich flavor to the dish. We both had pinci for our main courses, which is a thick roundish type of pasta, much shorter and thicker than spaghetti. The pinci itself was perfectly al dente. One of us had it with shrimp and the other with clams and bottarga, a chewy fishy pasty accompaniment made from fish roe which added complexity to the dish. Wonderful! And not too huge, right-sized for lunch. Great place, right near the old fort. Both inside and outside tables.
