100%. You must absolutely make your way here if you know what's good for you. Come early. Come hungry and thirsty. You will want to order everything on the big menu. Almond-anything here will blow your mind. If there's one item you need to order here, if not already apparent by the hype, it's the Almond Granita (with brioche on the side). It's Sicilian perfection and will put you in a good mood for the rest of the day. Of course, you're not only going to get that. Get that Cannolo, a Cappuccino with Almond Milk, and a slice of scrumptious cake. I was lucky to meet the seasoned pastry chef Corrado Assenza and snap a pic. I have to admit that meeting the artist was the cherry on top of this amazing breakfast experience. If you don't know, watch the Chef's Table, Season 4, Episode 2. Go to No-To!

Bustling cafe on the main drag in Noto. It's a Rick Steves recommendation. We were lucky enough to snag an outdoor table and take in the scene. The gelato, cappuccino and espresso were all very good. Not sure if it's the best gelato that I have ever eaten, but I was happy.

Decor: ClassicCleanCafé aesthetic Service: Brisk Food: Beguiling I am not a dessert person, and yet, multiple desserts were had. I recommend everything. Save the date and plan stomach space. Do not pass go if you're on a regimen. You're welcome.

Indoors because after 30 minutes they opened it is already full outside.

Smiling staff waiting for customers to walk in. Had to opt for the inside because just half an hour past their opening time, they were at full capacity outside. Ordered the pistacchio e arancia cake, cassatina, cannoli, gelso granita, and apricot granita. Each of them perfectly expressed every single fresh ingredients used, especially the cannoli and the cassatina. One better than the other. Spent about $20 which when you think about it, we ate for 4 people is pretty amazing as well. It is an unbelievable experience that anyone that can should try at least once. We saw the night before our visit Corrado, the owner, still in the laboratory at 10pm. A man that truly reflect hard work and tru passion. Thank you!

I chose to stay in Noto just because of this cafe. It did not disappoint. I probably went there ten times in the six days we were there, including one day when it was closed. I tried gelato, granita, cakes, cookies, chocolates, and got some biscotti and marzipan fruit when leaving to take home. I can't recommend this place enough. The staff were nice and said it was my home after they got to know me.. and recognized I was a regular... even just for a week. My favorites were the Cassatina, almond granita, cestina di frutta, and the chocolates & orange gelato (I forget the exact name). The ricotta (with pistachio) gelato was amazing too. Currado clearly is a little overwhelmed by the tourists, but frankly, if you create a Michelin level cafe with prices that everyone can afford... this is what happens. He was nice, and agreed to take a photo with me. I will treasure my time here.. forever.

A great little cake with marsala and a creamy center

Good product expensive compared to other places. Once you have been featured on TV it's hard to stay small and local, I think it shows. The product is good. I'd pass unless its convenient or like me you just want to eat here, due to seeing it on TV.

This was quite the happening place when our party arrived in the afternoon. Tables were filled and…read moreit took a moment for us to get seated. After being seated, we were never provided a menu of any sort and actually sat for several minutes before someone came by for our order, still with no menu. Regardless, we knew we were ordering granitas, brioche, and the arancini. Granitas - They verbally gave us a limited list of what flavors were available. We tried the almond, strawberry, pistachio, and limon. All flavors were delicious, not overly sweet, and very refreshing. A lighter more slush like version of gelato. Brioche - The brioche here is light and delicious, served warm, and is an amazing accompaniment to granitas. Definitely order one to balance out the granita if it gets too cold. Arancini - The ragu arancini is absolutely amazing. It was actually the better of the three items ordered in my opinion. I came for the desserts, but found myself fully enjoying this item more. The ragu is hearty and the flavors robust. A masticating delight of flavors. If you're not a smoker, definitely try to top for a seat indoors. Sitting outdoors will likely expose you to several patrons and even passersby or individuals sitting on nearby benches to cigarette smoke. Overall, the food and desserts here are amazing. I wish I had the stomach and time to try more of what they had to offer. Everything looked amazing and all seemed to be very reasonably priced.

Avoid Pasticceria Savia at all costs. The staff were…read moreshockingly rude and aggressive. My mother, who is disabled and uses a walking stick, simply wanted to sit while a table was being prepared. Instead of showing even basic decency, a staff member repeatedly dismissed her, saying "no, no" in an aggressive and disrespectful way and physically pushing her away from sitting. It was humiliating to watch. We waited about 20 minutes and were treated like we didn't matter the entire time. There was zero respect, zero explanation, and absolutely no empathy. It got worse!my sister tried to use the restroom while we were waiting, and it was disgusting. No soap, no toilet paper, and clearly not cleaned. We ended up leaving because the treatment was so offensive. Between the appalling behavior and the filthy facilities, this place does not deserve your time or money.

We were on our way back to our B&B in Siracusa from Ortigia Island. We planned to skip this place…read moreand go to a gelateria closer to where we were staying, so that our goodies wouldn't melt before we got home. But, the crowd here was just so huge that we thought there must be something worth trying here. I'm so glad that we came! The name of this place means "crazy desire" in Italian - Someone correct me if I'm wrong! - And it's not an exaggeration because every single item here with me covetous, and a little bit drooly! In the end I went with a "tartufo," which is a heart of ice cream and ganache wrapped with a chocolate shell. TO DIE FOR. In a little bit of serendipity, as I was asking silly questions about different flavors and gluten, I realized I was chatting with the owner of the place. He talked to me a little bit about the prevalence of celiac disease in Italy - that's why you need to only ask at most places, and they will have a gluten-free substitute for most pastas, pizzas, and even some dessert items! It was just a nice treat to talk to the owner of such a busy place, on a busy night, as two out of towners who just happened to be passing by. He didn't speak much English, so we were speaking in Italian the whole time... But don't let that dissuade you from coming here! If you're in Siracusa, do not miss this place, you won't regret it.
