It was very busy and yet it still felt very laid back. We sat down and were faced with a traditional menu, at rediculously low prices - Fanastic I thought. After ordering my Ocean pie and my partners' ham, egg and chips it was no more that 10 mins before our meals were on the table. The food was delicious! Adding a cup of coffee and a hot chocolate to the bill, it still only just cost us £10. I cannot recommend this cafe enough, although small, it is scrupulously clean, instantly welcoming and very good value for money. Perfect for afternoon tea, breakfast or a cheap lunch.

We only had a drink there but they do have a good menu at good prices. It's only a small place but it was fairly busy. There are a few tables inside and a small seating area out the front. The lady who served me said, "I know there'd be orders this morning so I cooked it all earlier and reheated it." That'll be five stars for honesty and two stars for the barely warm and congealed black pudding. Oddly enough, the hard fried eggs were edible.
