I do mostly go here to buy drinks before a night out or social gathering back at the house as they seem to be cheaper than other places. They have deals on the same wines as Simply drinks often do, 3 red, white or rose for £10...good deal to me as they're not the horrible cheap wines that taste like nail polish remover... I'd go in here just to get service with a smile and a packet of biscuits to have with your tea....it's a saviour.

'Run by bikers for bikers' is how Squire's Cafe describes itself, with what is possibly the UK's…read morebusiest biker cafe, even more so than the Ace cafe in London. The venue for numerous bike club meetings, the Cafe - also known as the 'Sherburn Cafe' (after nearby Sherburn-in-Elmet) or the 'Squire's Mike Bar' from its earlier days - hosts an incredible 10,000 bikers a week, on average. Yes - that's 10,000. Wednesday is apparently the busiest day, although it's pretty busy as week-ends too. It's situated just off the A1(M) motorway, on junction north of the M62 interchange (it's actually just off the old A1). As well as food and drink, there's a small (and a bit pricey) motorcycle accessory shop, and of course lots of parking (although this can get congested, especially in summer evenings and week-ends). Service also slows up when they are busy, so just be patient, sit back and admire the bikes. The site itself is a bit of a sprawl, and there's an outside servery at busy times, serving trad greasy-spoon fare such as burgers, pasties and fries (well, what do you expect at a biker venue?). There are veggie items available as well, in the form of cheese and tomato pizza, beans on toast etc. There are all sorts of events going on during the year, many raising money for charity, and an annual 'Yorkshire Rock 'n' bike' show, held in August. There's room available for camping as well, if you've brought your tent. A real mecca.
