This branch of Caffe Nero is one of the many branches which the chain has in Manchester city centre, this is located right opposite Spinningfields at number 133 Deansgate, it is also fairly close to rivals including Starbucks, which seems to be the case for most of Nero's branches in Manchester.
I called in today to claim my free coffee which I could get with the O2 Priority Moments app, I must make it clear this free drink was not to write a review and this was not mentioned in the promotion and this was not an experience with a third party, O2 only gave me a voucher code to claim a free hot drink.
I liked how they had a board to state what drinks you could get with the offer to avoid having to waste time with the staff explaining it, I opted for the new Cortado which is being heavily promoted by them right now to have more milk than a macchiato, and less punch than a flat white.
It was a small drink, the overall quality I found to be quite poor, the drink did need sugar but still the quality just wasn't there, I didn't think it had an immense amount of flavour and it certainly isn't a drink they should be advertising so heavily.
The access to the store for wheelchairs is through a ramp, located right by the doorway.
They seemed to have a large amount of staff working, who seemed friendly enough, service did seem a little rushed and quick however as the store was a little busy, I did have to confirm my order to another member of staff twice to pay, which was quite frustrating that I couldn't do it all in once. The staff did seem nice enough but the whole process made me feel a little rushed, and some staff didn't seem as friendly and attentive as others.
Location: Good
Service: Satisfactory
Overall feel: Satisfactory
Quality of beverage: Poor
Overall I feel this place deserves a two star rating as beverage quality and amount of seating and the fact I felt rushed, really lets this place down. read more
