This centrally located bar in the pretty town of Chiaramonte Gulfi is unremarkable inside but has attractive outside seating areas spread across both sides of the street.
I recommend it as a spot for a pre-lunch or pre-dinner aperitivo, as the drinks are good value and served with an abundant selection of snacks. I had a prosecco which cost three euros and glasses of wine were similarly priced.
The snack selection with the aperitivo is abundant but not of the highest quality: included were crackers with mayonnaise, crisps and nuts. There were some spicy olives and local focaccia type rolls which were tastier and less artificial.
Overall, it's fine for a quick coffee stop or drink during the day, and the service is friendly, if on the slow side. read more
