We hung out there a lot and got to know them this June. Great people - fun, helpful - they helped make the trip a great one. They even taught us and our boys some Italian that might stick. It's now August, I still have their business card, and still wish we could go back. They're handily located across from the bus station and next to the bike store.

There are plenty of other places to eat in the neighborhood, but we saw Maque Café with its outdoor seating near a fountain and among numerous trees and we were sold. The menu is simple and clean (with items leaning towards European while still having Mexican cuisine options) with lots of healthier options. I ordered a chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese in a tamarind sauce with some healthy grains and steamed vegetables. It was exactly the kind of light dish I hoping for, and I really enjoyed it with a freshly squeezed juice and a coffee. The service was good, and it was just a lovely place to enjoy a meal in San Ángel - the kind of place I'd love to sit with a book and relax for a few hours! I'd be happy to return.
