Thought we were off to a bad start here when the waitress refused to speak Espanol "un poco despacio" (Slower) and went and got the owner to translate. He apologised for her gruff, Ukarinian attitude and we burst out laughing as my girlfriend is Ukrainian. Once we (by which I mean my girlfriend) started ordering in Ukrainian, everything was perfect in this busy worker's cafe.
Must admit, the menu was a little more Eastern European than Spanish, but it was good quality food, rather cheap, and certainly good enough for the overwhelmingly Spanish lunch crowd, and therefore more than good enough for me. read more
