It's the oldest cafe in Buenos Aires and I liked the old school feel of it. We ordered a cafe con leche (latte), a tostada mixto (ham and cheese toastie sandwich), and a medialuna (smaller sweet croissant pastry). The portions were large so definitely shareable. The latte and the tostada mixto were good. Service was good as well, faster than I expected (I'm from NYC where everything is fast haha). The reviews said service was slow which I did not experience but it could be that I came early in the morning so it wasn't busy.

All of the syrups they use in house are home made and all of their ingredients are really nice top quality. You can see that they truly take pride in all they do. They have everything from chemex prepped teas to lattes with specialities such as organic honey and cardamom latte and nitro brews all made in house. Coming from New York there are lots of coffee shops but none that quite hit the target like this place. Was truly impressed and hope they plan open one up by us soon :)

A latte or cappuccino costs between 500-600 pesos. The staff here can speak English which is a plus for someone like me who has very limited Spanish.

The amount of foam to milk ratio was perfect. The Latte was also quite aromatic and didn't taste bitter or sour like some other lattes I've had in the past. He has a bit of a sweet tooth and this drink was perfect for him lol. Lastly we also had the tiramisu cake which my friends really enjoyed! Served a salad instead of a wrap and gave a glass of ice but no Coke. Took several conversations to get them to understand they we just wanted what was on the order. After two attempts, they did finally give us what was on the order. The wrap was ok, pretty bland. Beautiful day to sit outside but the street vendors are as annoying as mosquitoes.

Yay!! They toasted it and it came with cream cheese. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the portion was giant, it must of been like four eggs. I couldn't finish it.
