I've been returning to this nice coffee shop for a few years because I'm often a guest across the street at the Intercontinental Hotel. Plus, the staff is very friendly & I always get an excellent cup of coffee here, made from Colombian coffee beans; known for their superior taste & aroma, boasting notes of chocolate, toffee, citrus fruits & nuts. The mild acidity of Colombian coffee beans make it very smooth on the palate. The coffee here is never very hot. But, that's OK because when it's excellent coffee, it doesn't have to be so hot that you can't taste the complex flavors. This is a Colombian coffee café & I live part time in Colombia & the coffee beans here are truly excellent. Unfortunately, I came in here today & ordered two double cappuccinos & the bill was $12 or 4400 Argentinian pesos. This is over priced! I won't even pay these prices in the USA. So, why would I pay these prices in South America, where the salaries don't warrant prices this high? I'm not sure if I'll return because they have raised their prices & I don't think it's very fair billing. If we allow ourselves to be overcharged anywhere, the prices will continue to go far beyond the value of a product. read more
