My cousin Diana basically took care of everything. She ordered for all of us with exception of the teenagers who wanted to eat fried foods. Based on what came my way, the highlights were: Bistek tagalog - it left me wanting more rice Puso ng saging - hands down everyone's favorite. So much so we ordered one to go to bring to our family in Manila. We're from Bicol and have this dish regularly when we're there so finding it here after we had just left Bicol certainly was no coincidence Halo halo - best one I had. PERIODT We only ordered one which the kids ended up hogging to themselves since it was that good Turon - fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiire The kids had fish & chips which I was told was good. The ambience here is it. You're transported in time as soon as you walk in. It reminded me of places in Vigan. Even the decor had us staring. My sister wanted to buy one of the paintings, but we were told they weren't for sale. It rained for a few minutes shortly before we left.
