Another one of those places that I only found thanks to previous 5-star reviews…read more Always on the lookout for a fantastic cup of coffee, I was walking through Duisburg and stumbled across a café with an absolutely perfect 5-star rating on Yelp... needless to say, I had to try this out! The coffeehouse is situated close to the König-Heinrich-Platz, hidden away in a small alley - I am pretty sure that I wouldn't have found it, had I not been directly looking for it. It is a small cafe with plenty of seats (indoors & outdoors), a tiny counter, its own roaster in the corner (yes, they do roast their own coffee beans!!!) and enough coffeehouse atmosphere to supply the entire city with it. It is quite obvious that the people here have a deep love for coffee - it's not just another "double-ccino-caramel-froth-something"-place, this is pure coffee made with love! And what happens when people add enough love, passion and knowledge to their product? You can taste the difference! Best café in Duisburg, if you ask me! I've been to this cafe twice now and both times we used a coupon from Groupon for all you can eat…read morecake and a hot drink. Both times we tried three different cakes each and I have to say that each cake was very delicious. The cafe is in an area which is not that nice and it's a location where u wouldn't normally go to drink a coffee and eat cake. Thanks to Groupon we found this little cafe and we would prob go there again.
