They were very slow to take and get through orders to the point people were walking out without having been served. The shop was disgusting with dirty plates and cups on every single table, I actually cleared a table for an elderly lady so she would have somewhere to sit with her coffee. Forget any specialty coffee, the girl's head almost exploded when we tried to order a simple iced latte, she even asked us what is was. The coffee was burned. Don't waste your money. We won't be back. Puckles invest in some training for your staff! Barista courses are so cheap that there's no excuse for staff not being able to make a decent cup of coffee in a coffee shop!

The service is friendly and the baked goods are AMAZING! I had the custard filled donut looking thing, I can't remember what it is called, buit it was made of chioux pastry and was topped in a yummy icing and filled with a delicious and creamy custard. The coffee was well made, a perfect chaser for my wicked custard delight. The decor is fitting for an old country bakery, fitted out like a rustic old shed filled with rusty tools and country looking stuff and stuff. I am looking forward to more country drives back to Fernvale just to get my fill of naughty custards delights and good old fashion hospitality.

I'm so glad it exists, there's not much else in the way of high quality food and coffee in the Lockyer Valley but this cafe certainly sets the bar high. Cheese, steak and bacon pie was lovely, I'm not sure if they're made of premises but they taste like they've been handmade with care and that means a lot to me. The coffee is brilliant too. I hope to get here one day before breakfast ends to try the eggs Benedict. The cafe has lovely couches to read and relax as well as in door and outdoor dining. You can buy all sorts of wonderful organic and local products in the store. I love what they've done with the place and the pricing is very reasonable.
