Very good art. three years ago the gallery had a cafe added. The gallery is managed by Jan Langhjem, which is a fascinating person with so much creativity. The cafe is managed by his daughter, she has been the dessert chef on the Danish national cooking team. Absolutely fantastic bake goods. We went here for lunch and had a selection of their Danish open-face sandwiches. This included rye bread with fish cakes, mayonnaise, and fresh salad. I also had the egg and shrimp variation. Both were very tasty. One of us had a draft beer and the other had a coke. The service was fast and knew a lot about the food selection and the art work. If you wander through central Frederikshavn this is a great place to take a rest and feed both your stomach and your brain.

The food is fresh and well prepared. They have a good selection of beer on tap. The best part is the service. They are very friendly, attentive (without over doing it), and very service minded. Wonderful place for a coffee or lunch.

Came in and waited and waited…read moreand continued waiting, I finally asked - "do you seat yourself or wait to be seated" - they said wait, so we waited more (at least 10 minutes). After being seated we were thrown menus and we waited again waited for someone to come to the table. After eating about 15 minutes, another couple was seated next to us. And we waited. Then they came and took the order for the couple that arrived much after us. So we waited. Finally I got up and asked if there was anyone to serve our table and explained the situation. This person was very apologetic, but it did t make up for the fact that we were hungry. I give 1 star because the food was good.

Unfortunately acoustics is a bit of a challenge, but overall a great place We had a mixture of burgers, seafood pasta and "star shoot" courses primarily from the light dinner menu. All the courses were well prepared and very tasty. We had a Sauvignon blanc from Marlborough with the dish. Very fruity and a great complement to the dish. This is a great addition to the restaurant scene in Frederikshavn and wonderful for date night, casual dinners or just an excuse to go out.
