I took my friends--it was their first time in Europe--to give them a taste of Germany without having to drive into one of the bigger cities. This place is great for some good coffee and a large variety of German pastries. They have excellent service, and you can sit inside, or if the weather permits outside and watch people walk by. It is a normal thing to do here without having to feel weird about it. We do it all the time, you sit outside and simple watch people as they walk by, wondering where they're from, why they are here, while enjoying your beverage, pastry or something else to eat.

Which I can do as long as I'm not constantly interrupted, thank you very much. The cakes where fairly bland, I expect better from a bakeshop and there coffee is much too bitter. I didn't even bother finishing my iced coffee which I had ordered without whipped cream but of course received with whipped cream. Prices were too steep in my opinion for the flavour of the products. The one thing they did do right? They make really nice Berliner but really, who doesn't?
