I ordered a baguette and two different croissants. I had my almondine with some coffee. I enjoyed everything. The croissants are denser than the traditional version, but still eats well but not as airy. I was intrigued and bought the round shaped versions with cream filling. I would have like it to have a more even spread of filling. It is shaped like a doughnut, but eats something like a bread-like croissant.
It is attached to a hotel and adjacent to the central market, so the mornings are quite busy. They need more staff with a dedicated barista. There can easily be a five minute or longer wait in the morning. Also, the staff do their job but could be more cheerful. They probably would be if there was more help. The tables don't get wiped down as you can guess. However, it is nice to sit inside in the a/c during a hot day. No wifi unless except through the hotel. read more
