Armed with my luggage after leaving my hotel, all I wanted was a fresh veggie juice to sit with while I checked emails and figured out my flight times.
This place is like a little oasis on a relatively busy Sydney street. With stacks of crates overflowing with veggies and fruit out of the front, I couldn't resist heading in. If you're after anything else but take away coffee, push past the line seemingly coming out the door - the people in this line just want take away coffee (and presumably tea?).
I ordered a carrot, celery and ginger juice and was asked how much ginger I wanted - I love this! Any seasoned juice drinker will know just how much ginger is enough without it overpowering your juice. The process of juicing seemed to take forever but I might be caught up in Sydney time and in reality, it was a reasonable time to wait.
$6.50 for a large juice is good. The ingredients are on display and looked fresh. There's free wifi here but good luck getting the password. I asked three times and still couldn't figure it out - ah well.
If I'm on this side of the city again, I'll defo be back. read more
