Zebra seemed to be locally owned, and I believe the owner was the gentleman making drinks. The atmosphere was lovely; current indie rock played on the speakers and there was assorted art on the walls. It was apparent that Zebra is a favorite for many locals. Mostly people seemed to be very familiar with one another; I was very obviously the only outsider amount them. The menu had been updated on the previous Friday and seemed to change often. Items listed included espresso drinks, teas, Belgium Melks, wines, flavored waters, and more. I had an excellent cappuccino that was served with a ginger biscuit. As an American with no language other than English, they were very kind and forgiving of my ineptitude. I would recommend visiting this café and I will certainly visit again during my stay this week. This is a delightful little spot in Eindhoven. It's quite close to everything--shopping, hotels,…read morethe train station, etc. There are tons of options (vegetarians and vegans will be quite happy) from the basic bagel and cream cheese to more elaborate sandwiches, including at least one version of avocado toast. Service is prompt, helpful, and polite, and they are very talented--check out the adorable coffee art. Beary cute indeed. The coffee was very tasty, as were the bagels. They're a bit different from the New York style--these are lighter, which is nice if you're planning to do a lot of walking around town (or dancing at de Effenaar). Good prices, too!

A lovely waitress took my order, making up a wonderful cortado while my bagel was being prepared. Sesame seeds and cream cheese. The bagel was great (it's not New York, but still great) and the service was great. Wifi worked well as I plotted out my day of exploring Eindhoven. Comfy space, great coffee.
