Rumours say that the owner was involved in the conception of the famous "Hüftgold" in Flingern, so you can imagine what to expect here. The cold matcha is 70% water and rest matcha. I understand that matcha is an expensive product and that coffee shops need to watch their margins and profits but as customer I don't understand how people and real matcha lovers could even enjoy these types of drinks.

Next time I'll have to get plain black coffee so I can taste their beans better. The yogurt was great, thick & creamy with a coarse/natural texture that I really enjoyed. I think it could be elevated if they used berries/fancier fruit instead of bananas & grapes, though. My friend got cheesecake & it looked yum. As far as service goes, it was standard, and the waitress spoke English. If you need a leisurely coffee break from shopping in the area or want to stay in the city center, this is a charming choice.

Most important aspects first: free WiFi (the password is scribbled on the blackboard behind the counter), friendly staff, quiet lounge music and all in all quite the relaxed atmosphere with really comfy chairs. They have a great selection of sweet treats - I tried the white chocolate & lemon muffin, sounds weird, tastes like heaven! Apparently they also sell frozen yoghurt, though it was far too cold to try that out! The coffee is good, nothing mind-blowing or exceptional, but simply good, at quite decent prices. Only drawback: too many seats for such a small café...it was quiet when I was here, but if this place is crowded, I'd hate to have people all around me.
