After observing the sh*t show unfold and finally receiving a table, it did take a hot second to even order anything. For some reason, our Airbnb hosts recommended this spot and for their pancakes. The S.O. ordered just that and I an eggs benedict. The pancakes were pretty plain and did not come with anything (i.e. syrup). Not sure how the S.O. gobbled those down. My eggs benedict were served on top of two chipotle infused waffles which were actually quite good. The eggs were poached to perfection which I am sure would receive much praise from the English tourists. Perhaps the only positive light to be seen, but... In the end, the place felt completely like a tourist trap. The food was not exactly cheap and they do tack on an extra charge to your bill if you do not order a drink. Plus, they are the only place in Europe we visited that automatically prompted for an 18% tip. It was probably the top Airbnb stay to date, but this was their only blunder -- recommending this place! Do not fall for the trap and avoid like the plague! Go snack on a gauffre at the many shops dotted around the City Center instead.
