This is one of the famous Viennese coffee houses and I love the ambiance here. You can see all…read moresorts of people drinking their coffee, have a little treat and read the newspaper or work on their laptops. We tried classic Viennese desserts: The Kaiserschmarren mit Zwetschkenröster which is a torn cake made in a pan served with plum compote. It was rich and quite sweet for my palate. The Scheiterhaufen, which is a bread pudding with lots of walnuts and meringue on top was served with vanilla sauce and very good. Also, a tad too sweet. The cappucino was quite small. I guess, it is quite touristy now despite that Viennese would go there too.
