We've been her 4 times in 9 days. Not only are the baked goods wonderful all the food items are delicious! We've had the yogurt, fruit and granola, the French toast and my favorite avocado toasts with grilled tomatoes! The sweet waitress Marley knows our names and orders! Today she introduced us to the chef of 20 years! We see lots of people working at the tables and are happy we are on vacation!

I love coffee and this place delivers! The small isn't so small here. Love to support locals! We had the Chai and latte.

Nice place to rest. Asked for baño and was told only customers--fine I ordered a latte (would have anyway). Another woman came and asked in Español and was given key, no questions asked. Hmmmm. Latte had decent flavor.

Stopped in Cafe Dona Nena for a latte this morning before a day of shopping, eating and trying to stay out of trouble in San Jose... LOL Coffee is excellent, the employees super friendly, patient enough to help us with our broken Spanish! Highly recommend!

Cappuccinos

Coffee is SO GOOD! Top 4 places in all of Cabo. Don't let the area or the shop fool you, they know what they are doing. Espresso based drinks are done very well. Food menu is for La Panaderia, next door.

Excellent coffee in a nice relaxing patio! You can chill with your drink in a chic and calm central area, or check out the shops nearby

We saw this place on Yelp and found it for breakfast. It's in old town San Jose right next to the Tropicana in Plaza Don Carlos. From what we discovered the Cafe Doña Nena is connected with the bakery La Panaderia Clyde, which is in the back of the plaza on the right. We asked at the Cafe about breakfast and the gentleman at the cafe directed us there. We ordered a turkey with mozzarella omelet and French toast with th berries & local honey and a chocolate donut. (Total $ 18 US) and an iced latte from the Cafe. Both brought everything to our table it the adorable open air courtyard with a very nice subtle water fountain. The food was 5 stars and the coffee was a little disappointing because they were out of vanilla but the gentleman working was very nice. We are older and would say we might prefer something a little more "Mexico" with full table service but the food was fantastic - seemed like my early 20's millennial Daughter's genre a bit more than ours lol

Chai latte MX$60

My son and I had 16 oz. iced chai lattes (MX$60 each) on a hot summer day, and they were delicious. They tasted like Oregon Chai lattes, which is probably the concentrate they used. We didn't order anything else, but the prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly.

Excellent coffee and price is very reasonable!!!! Highly recommend. Far better than American chains coffee. Guy from Seattle sitting outside recommended. That says it all.

Carmel frappé

Best Carmel frappé ever! So rich and creamy, I loved it and I'm one whom never orders frappé. This cafe is everything I love about trying them out during my travels. Just when you think their the same one pulls the rug from you and sucker punch you. I also had the crape Carmel cake and "omg", why hasn't this gone national? Countless crape's stack up to cake an cake is brilliant.

I love the place

Really excellent coffee, beautiful courtyard, friendly service. Quiet nice place for a break away from since of the more touristy places.
