It's a hotel joint and my meal option were quite limited to what they feel comfortable selling in…read morethe bar. The hotel restaurant was cordoned off at 7pm on a Sunday night like a crime scene: which makes sense I guess. Ask any rabid vegetarian!
I had Hessischer Wurst Salat: deli meat cut in slices and tossed with spring onions and pickle slices in a herb dressing. Fairly good, although it does not rival its southern neighbor, the good hearty Schwäbischem Wurstsalat: that's has a triple advantage of a) blood sausage strips, b) pungent spicy onions (those that make you quickly forget the bloody nature of this) and c) marinated for a day in WWV or white wine vinegar. Step aside, EVOO!
