Fresh ingredients, large variety and always top quality! No B grade chicken here that you can barely see in an assortment of toppings- think huge chunks of chicken breast. Always delicious and super friendly. A true hidden gem!

Just another unassuming little pizza place in a collection of shops. Or is it??…read more This place is a favourite among people in the area, and I was pressured quite heavily to try it out. Consequently here we are! I came, I tried it, I came back home... and here I am... The staff are very friendly, and very welcoming when you come in. After ordering, for the first time I was asked if I wanted to add any extra toppings. Seriously, a lot of places offer this service, but rarely are you ever asked about it. You may think it's a small thing, but it stuck in my mind. The wait time felt a little long, but I did go at a busy time. When the pizza arrived it was amazing. The drive home was a hard one, and biting into the pizza, the first thing I noticed was the dough. What did they do to the dough? It's magnificent! Maybe they did nothing, maybe it was supplied to them that way. Either way, it was really good. The toppings were plentiful and the cheese was nice. The sauces used had a bit of bite to them, just the way I like it. It was recommended to me, and I recommend it to you too.

The menu consists of mainly pizzas cooked in that beautiful oven and usually a roast pork or other meat also from the oven and pasta dishes which change according to ingredients available. The drinks are help yourself from the fridge on an honour system and mainly consist of a house white/house red (very good ones), beer and soft drinks. Those pizzas have beautifully crisp thin bases and imaginative toppings. Our only complaint is that for us there was too much cheese, I imagine because that is the way the locals, and Australians generally like it. So we had two pizzas and they are huge, followed by a pasta dish, all lovingly cooked by Paolo. All delicioso. So full no dinner required! The garlic bread comes out to you in a paper bag, a nice touch. We loved Pecora Nera. If ever you are in Burra try it. Oh, and it was packed on a Sunday at lunchtime so the word is out......
