During my time in Mexico, I learned that iced coffee was not a request many restaurants were often asked. Which made our breakfast at cafe bean even more enjoyable - cold coffee galore! The cold brew was very tasty and the avocado toast was loaded with flavor. If you're craving an American-esque breakfast, this is your spot. Service was super friendly and the vibe made me feel like I was back in CA. I also thought it was really cool that they host English-Spanish Convo hours, though I never made it to one.
Cafe Bean - previously know as The Coffee Bean is presently the only coffee shop in the Santiago area of Manzanillo. Open 8am to 9:30pm. They do their own roasting of beans to insure good fresh coffee and have good pastry selection. They put on a decent breakfast at a decent price. Cafe Bean thanks to the encouragement of Lee the owner, is becoming a centre for numerous social events and an important info gathering place for the expat community and visitors to the area. They are located in the north end of Manzanillo, in Santiago, across the street from the Santiago bus depot and beside Juanito's. The Coffee Bean es un lugar para reunirte con tus amigos, tomar un excelente café, disfrutar de deliciosos postres y del compañerismo.

Nice place. Best coffee in town. Iced latte was so good! Also tried avocado toast with egg and ham wow that was good. I strongly recommend this place when you are in town. read more

La atención al cliente fue terrible. La mesera no nos puso atención y uno de los platillos lo cocinaron incorrectamente. Lo siento pero el servicio fue pésimo y la verdad me quedaron 0 ganas de regresar. Ya se me hacía que porque el lugar estaba tan vacío. Les quise dar la oportunidad pero me fallaron. Y aparte de eso nos cobraron como americanos!! Tienen un meno que les cobra más a los turistas que vienen fuera del país. Los cachamos en su estratagema. Estoy más que decepcionado. Estoy indignado. No manchen. Nosotros some Mexicanos pero viviendo en Estados Unidos y así nos trataron. Manzanillo es espectacular pero este restaurante es un hoyo negro en una constelación. read more
