Absolutely wonderful restaurant in Geneva. We sat outside on the patio, it was intimate with a warm feel to it. Very European with an archaic design, there is an old watchtower next door above the wall.
Food was spectacular. Started with a smoked salmon and asparagus emulsion that was very good. What stood out, however, was the main course. Me and my stepmother both had the lamb, different versions. I had the rack of lamb while she had the shoulder of the lamb. It was so unbelievably good. Mine was cooked in the woodfire grill with rosemary and tarragon bread crumbs. It was so juicy and succulent, amazing flavor. My stepmother's lamb was even more tender, barbecue style. They gave us a side of potatoes au gratin that were divine. Creamy and cheesy. We paired it with a local Swiss Pellegrin Merlot that was perfect, full bodied and fruity.
The hosts/owners were very warm and welcoming. A very pleasant restaurant with delicious food. I've been to Geneva 50 or so times (my father lives there) and this was one of the better meals I've had. read more
