Albert's Corner turned out to be the perfect place. The inside is kind of dark with lots of black wood and separated into little cozy alcoves. Perfect for us to hide from all the other well-dressed diners. The beer was good and cold and we get very good food. Chanterelles are in season so I got Schnitzel with a chanterelle sauce and boiled potatoes. Just the perfect dish after a hike. Service was very friendly and efficient. We even received a shot of Schierker Feuerstein to end our meal and help us hike back to our hotel. We'll definitely stop here again when we're back in Bad Harzburg.

After our drink we went up to the roof top which is probably a cool place to be in the summer rather than sitting in the modernly furnished inside. Maybe the place is more crowded by young people in the summer time.
