Or you can go with the grand daddy frühstück and get cheese, meat, an egg, rolls, and coffee/tea and make your own tasty breakfast sandos for around 11 euros. We had to draw her a picture of a fried egg in order to show what kind we wanted though...so come prepared with a pen! Now I know that spiegel = fried ;) Spiegelei ftw - they cooked them to perfection. Whites completely cooked through, but a heavenly gooeyness of a yolk. A few minutes later, our food was ready. The apple pie was delicious. It's the only piece I tasted while in Germany. The bagel was very good. It had a good taste and texture and the avocado was fresh. I don't normally eat breakfast, but we've been tasting so much food while on vacation. Excellent cafe.

I stopped in bc it was my birthday and I wanted to redeem my free drink coupon. Instead, although they advertise that they do rewards, it wouldn't work and the gal behind the counter said American rewards accounts don't work for some reason... had the same issue in Paris earlier in the month. Because I had stood in line, I went ahead and ordered and paid, but it was frustrating. I will say, the staff were busy and very friendly and helpful, churning drinks out quickly and my non-fat macchiato was warm and delicious.
