Great little spot with an amazing menu! We happened to be staying right around the corner from this…read morespot at an airbnb, and noticed it one night while coming back from the old quarter by tram. It was closed, but looking in through the windows, and reading some of the menu written on the windows, it seemed worthy of at least a cup of coffee. We went back the next morning and had a full breakfast. I ordered the vegan and gluten free banana pancakes with a mint tea (fresh mint leaves in hot water), and my hubs ordered 2 poached eggs on sourdough with salmon and a coffee. Everything was delicious. The pancakes were a little more dense than I had imagined, but were full of flavor, and the apple-cinnamon-vanilla compote and fruit were a nice fresh and light compliment. I especially loved the presentation with each piece of fruit (melon, pineapple, kiwi, grapefruit and husk cherry) all stuck-through with a skewer to keep them together. My husband thought the bread had a great flavor and texture, the portion of salmon was generous, the poached eggs were perfect, and the hollandaise sauce was also tasty. We were very happy. Since the next day after that was our last morning in Dresden, and we wanted to make sure we had a good meal before our long train ride back to Frankfurt, we visited a second time. This time I had the poached eggs on sourdough, but with mushrooms, and the hubs had poached eggs on sourdough with ham. Both were very good, but we agreed we liked our combos the first day better. Still, the food quality was fresh, presentation and atmosphere were lovely, and we really liked the fact that they put a lot of effort into offering options for those with food allergies and intolerances. We would definitely recommend this place, and next time we are in Dresden, we will visit again!

Unlike other reviewers, we only waited 5-10 min for our food on a busy Sunday morning. Ambient is nice, good music, and all staff was friendly. I absolutely don't mind the self-service, since that makes everything faster. You get a pager that indicates when your food is ready - no yelling whatsoever. Saw plenty of families and people of all ages. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, sunny Easter Sunday and a nice brunch was definitely the order of the day. For 12.50 euros, you get an all-you can eat buffet including made-fresh-to-order scrambled eggs, a few different hot entree options. Some limited cereal/yoghurt options, numerout cheese and salads, breads and some tasty sweets. Included in the price is a glass of prosecco and a glass of juice. Overall, pretty tasty options and satisfying, for the price. It's definitely a no-brainer to come here if you are staying in Neustadt. It was crowded at 10:30am. I got a seat at the bar, but the very friendly bar tender hooked me up quite well. He was clearly quite busy mixing very odd drinks. One was a coke+juice+Radeburger.. Oh my. For himself, he made a Coke+Fanta. I saw very few customers ordering the juices. I was clearly sized up as an American and was served a huge pint worth. I guess in Europe it is all about the Coffees and alky drinks. Love it.

I saw a couple who'd already finished when I got there, and they were still chatting away after I left. Like I said. Germans. Brunch. LOVE.

This restaurant is connected to a place where the restroom is free, so it is quite popular with people just stopping by, using the bathroom, and then leaving. In either case, it is their loss because I can tell you that food kicks ass in this restaurant! We tried the signature fish soup, pork schnitzel, and fresh trout. Everything tasted delicious and wonderful. The trout is super fresh and well-cooked. The pork schnitzel is authentic and thinly sliced so that the meat is crunchy yet juicy. It is great that also comes with authentic potato salad, which tasted awesome. I was not a big fan of the fish soup but found it still good nonetheless.
