In seiner Glanzzeit gehörte das Restaurant- laut Auszeichnungen- zu den besten Restaurants in Schleswig- Holstein. Das Café Kommodig im Landhaus Schütt ist ein Restaurant, Café, Hotel, Haus der Feste und ein Veranstaltungsort für kulturelle Events. Wir möchten gerne diesem historischen Ort, der in den letzten 10 Jahren nur noch als "Haus der Feste" betrieben wurde, wieder zum Leben erwecken.

The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend getting a reservation, if you go for dinner. We went for lunch and it is the same menu as dinner. I ordered a local Dunkel beer and the currywurst sausage plate with spicy fruit sauce and a side salad. It was probably the best currywurst I have ever tasted. Even the side salad was carefully assembled with a nice dressing. My husband ordered the breaded and stuffed chicken with spinach and it was also very good. We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. They also have menus in English, which was very helpful. We would comeback again. Thank you.

The muesli was excellent. It was served with quark, milk, and dried and fresh fruit. I'd never tried quark before, but it sure does beat the traditional American yogurt! My hubby got the big breakfast. I had some of his bread with the jam and it was divine. Service was friendly and spoke English.

When it came it was white? I have literally never seen white guac before, its base is avocado so you would think the default color would always have to be green. I was so confused I stopped the waiter and said, "Oh, I ordered the guacamole" and he (very nicely) said "Yeah, that is guacamole!"
