No living room so you have to hang out and watch TV in the bedrooms.. No big deal. The kitchen has utensils if you plan on cooking but we never really used it. The bathrooms were really tiny but I thnlink thats the European norm. We had a nice view of the city from our room and you really felt like you were in the heart of it all. . My favorite parts about the hotel. 1. Close to the Vatican. 2. Spacious rooms. 3. Breakfast included. The assortment was very good. Fresh juices and a nice selection of breakfast items. They even had a full honey comb out which was something I have never seen before. Views at the upper breakfast area is amazing. 4. Has a lounge with a shower for guests that have a plane to catch in the evening. This was a huge plus. On our departing day we used the luggage check. And after a day of bike tours we were able to come back to the hotel and take a shower. My not so favorite parts about the hotel. 1. Air conditioning is controlled by the key card. And when I tried to bypass this and just leave it on so that there wont be temperature swings house keeping would take the key back out. Kind of annoying. 2. Staff doesn't seem to acknowledge your presence. A simple smile or hello is always a welcoming gesture in the hospitality industry. 3. Laundry room has set hours that are ridiculously inconvenient. Overall the hotel was outstanding. Ill likely stay here again if we return to Rome.

For 2.50 euro for each machine downstairs, you can actually do laundry and wash and dry your clothes. This came in handy to us since our trip was 10 days. I've stayed here throughout the last 10 years with my mom and they have majorly upgraded everything making it contemporary and modern. Housekeeping comes to your room daily to replace towels and make your bed. It also has a lounge and restaurant area on the 7th floor with a great view of Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica. For 10 euro, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by the options which included scrambled eggs and mini pancakes as well as chilled items like slices cheese and yogurt. From 4 - 10 pm, you can go up and get a drink which is served with potato chips, peanuts and sometimes mini pigs in a blanket and mini pizzas. The drinks are affordable at 5 euro each, at least our red wines were that each night. A service we took advantage of was the private car to the airport. It was 50 euro and they said a taxi would be 48. It was a very nice BMW that picked us up and was 15 minutes early which was reassuring. This saved us the headache of calling a taxi.

This was before and after a cruise and I did not have transportation to the ship/airport/back again. Elise asked me to email the exact times and dates and she secured a large taxi to pick us up from the airport, cheaper than the going rate! We also had 3 suitcases for a long cruise, and they came and carried them up the stairs to our rooms! Breakfast was wonderful, every thing you could possibly need! She even let my husband play the piano! Fur Elise! On the last day even though no one was around at 6:00am she had secured another taxi to pick us up and come and get our now 4 suitcases from the third floor room and bring the down for us. I found Vino e Oli and read the reviews, most of them were good and I felt comfortable doing the apartment thing as opposed to the hotel route. One of the first problems we had was with transportation. We hired a van through Vino E Oli but when the day came, we were picked up in a sedan that didn't fit all of our luggage and the driver still charged us the minivan price. I spoke with the receptionist and she talked with the driver and they go back and forth with one another. Eventually, the driver explains that he didn't have a van available so he picked us up in the sedan. But why charge us the van price? Once we got to the room, it was as you see in the pictures and everything seemed to be in order. We were pleased with the room and the amenities they offer but word of caution, they DO NOT HAVE A DRYER ON SITE. It's actually a washer and dryer combo which doesn't dry the clothes so you have you lay them out to air dry. The next major problem started the first night when I took a shower and the shower drain wasn't working but I didn't realize it until the water started flooding the shower pan and I immediately got out. I let the water drain which took some time. I then continued my shower for a couple more minutes and then got out and noticed that the floor was completely covered with water. The next day my children took a shower and noticed that the shower was still flooding. I then contacted the owner by email and explained how the shower was flooding. That evening I needed to take another shower and this time I decided to take a quick shower and get out but when I got out the floor had flooded from the wall and from the shower pan which I didn't realize and I fell down hard and bruised my back and head. I was in a lot of pain and I told my children to not use the shower again. The next day I spoke with the receptionist personally because I still hadn't heard from the owner and explained that the shower and sink were flooding and she said that she would have one of the cleaning crew to fix. No one showed up at all to fix it that day. After much frustration I went downstairs to I speak with the receptionist again and showed her video of shower flooding and the wall leaking water. In a couple of hours that's when the issue was fixed. It took 3 days for them to finally fix the shower drain. They never fixed the broken sink drain and the toilet seat was broken also as other people have commented, the air conditioner works intermittently. I had to turn it off, turn it back on and after about 30 minutes it started working again. I had to do this everyday. When I asked the owner about refunding some of the money he seemed taken aback and then offered me $30. I explained to him how severe the issues were especially with me injuring myself and he finally agreed to give me half of what I paid but he didn't actually give me half but only about 40%. I know he'll say that he didn't charge me for my daughter who is 11 years old because on the reservation it asks how many adults and I put 2 and forgot to put my daughter as child. He'll say that I only wanted a refund from him when I would say that I have picture of the bruises I got from falling in his bathroom that wasn't working properly and a safety hazard. That I had to see a doctor and get medication for the injury I sustained at his property. Overall, I would say to skip this place and go somewhere the owners take accountability and don't fight you over small issues and especially big issues. I would not recommend Vino E Oli to anyone and just in case you do decide to stay here make sure you don't get room 2.4.

For my first visit to Rome, I'd been looking for somewhere close to the main attractions, yet in a…read morequiet neighbourhood and with good reviews - Roma Dreaming had ticked all those boxes, so I was looking forward to my stay there. Alessia was extremely helpful in the days leading up to my arrival, with advice on how to get there from the airport and so on. On my arrival, which was a little earlier than expected, I was delighted to be told that my room was ready and that I'd been upgraded to a room with a terrace, so that was a good start. Alessia was very friendly and welcoming during the check in, with lots of advice on local transport and a good restaurant for lunch. On first sight of the room, I was very pleased indeed - it was a spacious double room, with a separate bathroom, wall-hung TV and two external windows. The terrace took a little bit of finding as it was concealed behind a window blind in the bathroom area, but it was a nice thing to have, even in January. The bathroom was comprised of a good sized walk in shower, WC, bidet and washbasin, all in a good condition. The bed was large and well stocked with pillows, and very firm. The room also had great storage space with a lockable safe for valuables, as well as a mini bar. Breakfast is delivered to the room, with coffee, fruit juice and a range of fruit tarts, croissants or buns, accompanied by jams, marmalade or honey. It varies from day to day. The staff were great - from Alessia at the front desk on check in, until I left four days later, they couldn't have done any more to help. Roma Dreaming really is a very nice hotel with some frills to make it a very pleasant place to stay indeed. The hotel itself is easily found, three minutes walk from S.Pietro station, up a slight incline. From there, it's a ten minute walk to St Peter's.

The room was large and well-appointed with a very good modern bathroom and was extremely clean. The building boasts a charming courtyard and garden though there isn't much of a view of anything. WiFi was free but very slow even though the wireless server was plugged in right outside the door of the room. The main problem here was the service needs to be more polished and to provide more info. When we reserved, they gave us the address for one of the other residences in their collection. We were then told to go to this address, which involved shlepping a lot of luggage for about six blocks. Then we were told the hotel tax had to be paid in cash, despite the fact that another hotel put it on the credit card. They include continental breakfast but it is in a little caffe that is evidently owned by them or a business partner and is several blocks away. Had we been directed to the correct address and informed ahead of time that they requested the hotel tax payment in cash, we would have been much better disposed towards them.
