Great value, excellent customer service, excellent bikes, please go there! We were visiting and rented mountain bikes to go to Miles Canyon.

We were in Whitehorse for a total of 10 days to do some mountain biking. We looked around to find rentals and found only one place that rents nice, full suspension bikes: Cadence Cycle. This is a small shop with a super nice owner that rented us two Specialized bikes and at very reasonable price. He loaned us a rack for our rental car at no extra cost, and adjusted the breaks on my girlfriend's bike midway through the week in 10 mins for no charge. He gave us a repair kit at no charge, and said we'd only have to pay for the tube if we used it. Lastly, he gave us good advice on the trails and loaned us a trail map. I really liked this shop, and I hope it stays around. As far as I can tell there is really only one other place in town that rents bikes anyway (without booking a trip with them), and they are more around town cruiser bikes. read more

Fantastic little local bike shop! My friend was in the market for a new bike to get around town so I thought in my spare time I would do some looking around. Cadence is a small house converted bike shop that offers everything from mountain bikes, commuters and high end road racers. If you are looking for a bike they probably have one that will fit your needs. In addition to bike sales they also have a fleet of bikes for rent so if you are looking for a way to explore Whitehorse it's a great option. They are also a full service shop in case your bike needs a little attention. The owner was very friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. We ended up picking a bike there as it was a great price and it was exactly what was needed. Excellent service - owner Dean was extremely helpful in my search for a new saddle. I was 600 miles into my bike tour and the previous saddle had put a SEVERE damper on my body and the trip.
