If I could give this bank a 0 I would I can not express how much I hate this bank and regret ever opening a account with this place They keep adding overdraft fees I'm so Pissed right now They are letting small charged purchases go out and then charge me $36.00 but won't let my power bill go through when I opened my account with this bank I made sure that I had overdraft protection but for some reason they aren't providing the OD services so now I'm $200 dollars in the hole and if they wouldn't have let the little things go through and not my power bill I would be in this mess SO... once this month ends I'm closing this account I'm not sure if what they are doing is illegal or not but I will report Cadence bank to the BBB!! I do not and will not recommend this bank to anyone it's like they take from the poor and put it their pockets of their own BANKER BEWARE... read more

After opening an account, the first major issue was trying to get online banking to work. It appears that the system is fluky and seems to be down a lot--good luck trying to pay bills. Another issue is corporate response (or rather the lack there of); if you are lucky enough to get a live person, good luck in getting your problem resolved. One of corporate's stock answers is that you have to go to the branch office; in other words, they have no clue. Simple normal/routine banking tasks CANNOT be performed locally, but have to be performed at corporate taking an inordinate amount of time (and sometimes never getting completed). I deal with some banks--Truist, Suncoast, First Citizens, etc.)--and have NEVER SEEN such backward procedures and disregard for customer service.

I purchased my new home through them after recently selling a home. My realtor was Teresa Bidez. If you have the good fortune to have her as your realtor you will not regret it. I absolutely cannot sing her praises enough!! She was so helpful, answered all of my questions, went above and beyond my expectations. She was on top of every aspect of my home buying experience. From finding me my perfect new home to helping get my closing done on time. If I emailed/texted/called with a question, I never had to wait long for an answer. Like I said, I can't stop singing her praises! I used a different local realty company for the sale of my other home. I wish I had contacted Coldwell Banker High Country first. I would have had a better experience. The other realtor would take up to 3-5 days before she ever acknowledged any question I had on my pending sale. I was constantly left hanging. I never had to wait for a response from Teresa or the friendly people in the office. Go see them!
