Our family's journey with Primrose WingHaven began during COVID with a virtual tour from Heather Mahoney, and from that moment forward, we always felt welcomed, supported, and cared for. Both of our boys essentially grew up there -- Truman starting at 10 months old and Teddy beginning at just 10 weeks old when I returned from maternity leave. Over the years, they were loved by so many incredible teachers and staff members as they moved through classroom after classroom. At first, the daily updates, photos, and videos felt overwhelming -- but they quickly became one of our favorite parts of the day. Watching your children be genuinely loved and celebrated while you're at work is something every parent hopes for. Primrose didn't just provide childcare for our family. They helped build a community around us. Many of the friendships our boys made there will likely continue well into elementary school and beyond. What stands out most to me now is the compassion they showed our children during difficult seasons too. Childhood isn't always linear. Kids grow, struggle, regress, mature, and surprise you constantly. Through those years, the teachers and leadership at Primrose always treated our family with warmth and humanity. We will always be grateful for the role Primrose WingHaven played in helping raise our boys and preparing them for kindergarten. Writing a review of a daycare is difficult, because there are so many different types of people…read moreinvolved. The teachers at the goddard school are great, the families are great. This review is about the management, and more specifically the owner. In my years of experience in daycares/ preschools I have never worked under anyone as disrespectful as her. Many of the teachers in that building expressed the same feelings about the management to me in my time there. I worked at Goddard for two and a half years, and was a lead teacher for a large portion of that time. I won't claim to be the best teacher ever, there are absolutely areas I could've approved in, but I was a good one. One who cared and put a lot of effort into assuring the kids in my care were safe and happy and learning. I wouldn't have worked there for so long or been promoted from resource teacher, to assistant, to lead if I wasn't. Then, one day after informing the bosses that I had an interview at another Goddard closer to my home, I was fired. The owner and the assistant director pulled me into the office and berated me with blatant lies about my job performance for half an hour before terminating me. This happened during nap, never even giving me the opportunity to say goodbye to the kids I cared for for so long. The owner told me herself that she spoke with the director at the other Goddard giving her "opinion" of me, and then unsurprisingly I did not get that job either. If you are considering bringing your children to this school or working here, keep this in mind: when I went to the owner looking for help in figuring out how to teach a child much younger than most of my other students, she told me "from a financial standpoint, I would put an even younger child in there if your room was the one with space for them". I believe a school should focus on what is best for the children, not only what will make them the most money.

Instead, we were contacted by someone completely unrelated to the O'fallon location and they asked for clarification regarding this review. It was then decided we would have a meeting with that person because Gina was still ill. Long story short, our son is no longer enrolled at Kiddie Academy because of the unprofessionalism shown by Chassidy and Lindsey (director and assistant director) and their inability to supervise or even communicate with parents regarding their children. After we requested a refund for the month of November we started getting the run around, even though our son never attended a single day in November. They kept saying they "abide by the state minimum" and I don't know about everyone else here but but when it comes to my children and especially for what they charge I don't expect the minimum anything. If you truly love your children I urge you to think twice before enrolling in Kiddie Academy. Original Review: My youngest son has been attending Kiddie Academy O'fallon for a while now. Today marks the 3rd time in less than 2 months he's gotten bit while in their care. The school refuses to address the problems or give us an action plan as to what is being done about it. When brought to the schools attention their resolution was "well you can always pull your child from the school" Beware: if you don't want your children being bit find somewhere else to send them.

Our oldest has also surpassed our educational expectations at the school, before even turning 3 he is counting beyond 20, counting backwards, can recite his ABCs, and even has started recognizing sight words which makes Little Sunshine's absolutely worth the value. There is no price tag I could place on providing my children an early start to their education and the curriculum is built in such a way that he is also fostering a love of learning.
