This location is predominantly full sun with a large indoor/bright light section in the back. For plants that may not normally be able to take the heat-they have conditioned many of them for the Florida sun, just ask if you're unsure. It's huge and has a flea market vibe. Take your time and Google lens the plants you're unsure about. Buyer beware-if you want it buy it!! Their stuff probably won't be there a week later, especially the rare things.

This place is amazing…read more I love plants but am a bit of a plant serial killer. I can't tell you how many lovely green friends I've gone through throughout the years. I try, but I fail. I really put my best effort but always tend to over love them. I found Wild Roots and immediately fell in love with the place. I spoke to the girl who immediately greeted me. Told her about my love of plants and my murderous ways and she graciously walked me through the plants she thought I'd be good with. She took her time and made sure I had a good understanding on the watering needs as well as the sun desires of these lovely things So I took my time, walked around, and found 1 plant to call my own. I could have bought an entire forest worth but I wanted to make sure I was able to take care of the one I had before I slaughtered their entire inventory. So far so good my plant is still alive. I've been listening to the advice I was given and I can't wait to go back and something else to add to my apartment to make my home feel even more green.

They had the most impressive selection of fruit trees that I have ever seen. If you can name a fruit, they had a tree for it. I think if you are looking for a unique or unusual tree, this is the place to get it. I was so impressed also with the many different varieties of each fruit tree, like twenty different kinds of mango trees, and twenty different kinds of avocado trees, etc. Unfortunately, they only carried one dwarf fruit tree, which is what I was in the market for, so I had to go elsewhere.
