I gave Cacti Landscaping a try hoping to find a new regular service, but it didn't work out. While they seemed promising initially, the quality of the lawn maintenance didn't meet expectations, and there was little follow-through on what was discussed. To be fair, they may be better suited for design projects, but for ongoing lawn care, my experience was disappointing. Also, interesting that some companies don't pay attention to the cameras mounted around my house that record everything going on in the front and back yard. read more

My monthly maintenance service began with Cacti in January 2026! Though my yard looks "maintained" and I'm happy with the service I've paid for, little things mean a lot as well! Respecting my property and placing things back as they were, speaks to care and quality of service equally! Since my services began I have consistently requested that the landscapers coming to service my yard, please place statues, grounded light fixtures, etc., as they've found them! With today being my 5th service, this has STILL not been honored! After the service of my yard has been completed, without fail, I have to go into my backyard to return my statues and grounded lighting back to their usual position. As far as value, I think the cost is on par with other companies who will hopefully respect my property as well! Understood that this may not be an issue for some, but for me having workers come to my home to not only do the work but care for my property, is a must. read more

Possibly the worst landscape experience I have had. I asked them to trim my lemon trees and rose bushes and train my jasmine across the walls of my yard. They didn't touch my trees or rose bushes and chopped off 2+ years of growth on my jasmine. When I asked them to fix they said I could pay them extra to come back...do not use them for anything as they do not care and will not do it right. read more

I'm replying to the owners reply to my 1st review. He stated I said 3.5 hours for the 1st day, wrong!! 3.5 for both days, 2.75 1st day and .75 2nd day. He also attacked my character, say if I were a little smarter and they proceed to lie about the number. I timed the on the job with a stop watch. I'm master prepared and have a very high net worth. Doesn't sound like a person that needs to be smarter. I reported your comments as bulling. I paid in full. If you continue lies and character my next step is the contractor's complaint process. Not a real landscaping company. If the ground isn't flat and level then they won't work on. Glorified gardeners. I have a hill in my back yard and they wont work on it because its a hill. Said that it's not safe for workers to not be on flat level ground. Landscapers are the ones who put the hill there in the first place. read more

Filled in an online form regarding some work needed in my yard involving planting three areas. Received a call as a result. As the conversation was ending things went South when I was asked for my credit card for a $20.00 deposit to get a rep to come to my house for their opinion as to what to plant. No way am I going to pay for something like that. Time to move forward without the aid of Cacti. read more

We have used this business for roughly 4 years or so, we have them come out 1-2x a year to do a tree trim and general clean up on our very small yard. I will say, the crew they send has always been kind and hardworking and generally done great work! My issue is with the customer service aspect. The woman who answers the phones (I'm sorry, I don't know her name, but I know she's been there for years bc she is usually who I speak with) has just gotten ruder and ruder. I texted as I usually do, signed the form they emailed, and then called to pay and schedule to have them come out. Then I ended up cancelling the request after speaking to her; we're done. I realize that we don't spend a ton here, but we will take our $200-400 per year business elsewhere, hopefully to someone who will be more helpful and less condescending when scheduling. It seems very odd to me that she wanted to argue whether or not they could trim the same tree they've been trimming for 4-5 yrs, but ok. I don't expect anything to come of this review, but wanted to simply let this business know why they have lost this customer. I get it, I worked in customer service for many years, it's hard to fake nice day in and day out. But when a customer calls asking for the same job that's been done for years and you are argumentative enough to make that customer say "never mind, we'll get someone else", well that is a problem for your business. Check my reviews, I rarely post on yelp despite having an account for many years, I do not complain for no reason - in fact I've left Cacti multiple stellar reviews over the years on the link they send after service - but those reviews are for the work done, not the office aspect. read more

Trash Service and Ignorant customer service over the phone. They don't pull weeds since I received a letter from the HOA with photos. I was told "Fxxk You by the woman on the phone after I questioned their service policy with only attitude and a smart remarks. I suppose they she has never had anyone question a contract that they have written. They say they trim trees but they don't. Another tough lady over the phone... so sad!!! The team was amazing. We had two large cactus with horrible spikes that needed to be removed from our front yard. The work was performed quickly and efficiently, with holes being filled and drip system being capped off with no leaks. The price was very reasonable. WOW...how disrespectful and racist can someone be. I've never heard someone wanting business and then speak to my wife and ask them where they are from (she speaks perfectly good English) and right after that comment "oh you will never lose your accent." That to me is a sign of horrible service and to even speak like that to a customer is shocking. I can see why this company has bad reviews, when they have people coming out and this is the type of things they say. On top of that, charging me for an estimate and then when they get there to tell me that they can have another company reach out to me on some of the work I asked for an estimate on prior to them coming out. Technicians are efficient, on time and do good work. Both for clean up and fertilization.

They were great the first time they came out! We called for repeat services and they require you to sign a release form and pay the first hour of work as a deposit to hold your spot BEFORE scheduling. My boyfriend completed the form while still on the phone, and payment was already on file as we were repeat customers. We were told we had an appointment tomorrow, 6/14/24. Fast forward to today, my boyfriend gets a call from Cacti, assuming it's a confirmation call that we will see them tomorrow. Nope. Apparently that appointment was never scheduled because "he had to call back to confirm that date after submitting the form." Why? He was still on the phone when he completed it, and was never told he needed to call back. What sense would that make? When he asked to be put on for tomorrow as promised, or sooner than the date offered, he was basically told that he was shit outta luck and would have to take a date 2 weeks in the future. Trash customer service to fix a mistake made by your own staff. I'll find someone else. read more
