When there was an issue with the shipping of urn we ordered, Tracy went above and beyond to make sure we received the urn we needed in time for the funeral mass. I will forever be grateful for the kind way my family was treated during this terrible time. Thank you Tracy and Myers.

I would NOT recommend Steve Saunders (Saunders Excavation). He is not honest, doesn't know what…read morehe's doing, totally took advantage of my 70 year old mom. Never explain material choices, nor show any materials in person to choose from. Told her she'd like what he was going to put on her RV pad which is like a (clean out from a cement truck. Sent her two pictures of rocks to choose from. He didn't know how to order the required material for the job so he piled all the rocks up like hills NOT flush with the side wall. My mom told him while he was there doing the job they need to be flushed and sent him two texts no response. He NEVER gave her a paper bid NOR invoice. He acted as though he was working under someone else construction company and NEVER told my mom he is doing her job independently under his business. He just got his business license 01/26/2023. I reached out to the company that my mom (Thought) she hired for the job. That owner was upset to why he's name is being involved as he's not the one that did the job and is willing to help anyway he can. I reached out to Steve as I'm really upset that someone would deceive and take advantage of someone as he did and to meet at my mom's in person to address what needs to happen with the RV pad as it's terrible and she thought she was getting roadbase not Ladle-cement clean out it's terrible! Steve just wants to communicate through text not willing to meet in person to make things right. That should tell right there what kind of person he is. Me and my husband moved all the excess rocks which there was enough there to cover two more large spaced, again because Steve didn't know how to measure out how much material he needed and order too much and didn't want to be bothered with the excess rocks he piled them up and left from the 70 year old customer to deal with. Which he really should've taken/hauled off all the excess instead of leave for the customer to deal with. I stated that to him and he's response was ( most people like it mounded) I have NEVER seen any rock curbing mounded- hilled residential nor commercial! I should be sending him a bill for cleaning/completing his job. Didn't remove ANY material such as (grass/ dirt etc) from the curbing nor parking strip-RV pad- just put the cloth down which also was high in many places that we had to cut and the parking strip-RV pad no material removed to make flush with driveway to add material. Not level! It's like you hire someone to replace your cement driveway and they don't tear it out and just pour new concrete over the old concrete. I asked about a bid & invoice he said that my mom said she doesn't email! I told him then he needed to accommodate the customer and asked for both of them to be emailed to me. I've requested 3/4 times now still have yet to receive them. More than sure there is neither. But that wasn't a conversation that was ever even had with my mom. He never even mentioned an email to my mom. He send her a bid through text not detailed bid either just $2100 & $3000. He's already been paid my mom had to leave before the job was completed didn't know who to write the check to so wrote the check, it was paid in full and she got home to the hill of rock and the RV pad looks TERRIBLE. I would be embarrassed to say I did that job let alone treat someone that way. We've tried to get Steve to make it right but he's thinking he did such a great job! It's the worst job I've ever since. You can clearly tell he doesn't know what he's doing. And he seems to not want to make it right. He should be very ashamed of himself. I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND! If there was not a star available to leave I wouldn't leave any stars!

I would never recommend this mortuary to anyone…read more I initially removed this review out of respect for my wife, as she has had to face these people during an already difficult time. However, their actions have escalated to the point where I can no longer stay silent. They have now gone so far as to place a lien on my home, adding insult to injury during a time of grief. In short, if your loved one passes without insurance and your family is struggling financially--whether on disability, welfare, or similar--they will stop at nothing to pursue payment, regardless of your circumstances. They will come after you, no matter how much you're already suffering. My mother-in-law passed away suddenly in August, leaving behind children who are mostly on disability or other forms of assistance, except for my wife. Instead of showing compassion or attempting to work with us in good faith, this funeral home has chosen to prioritize profits over humanity. Beyond their heartless financial practices, the service itself was appalling. We were charged for a professional hairstylist to style her hair, but what we received was shockingly disrespectful. They placed her wig underneath her head, leaving my wife--the grieving daughter--to style her deceased mother's hair herself. To charge for such a service, claim it was professionally done, and leave the family to fix the issue is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, they charged us $200 to record the service on a tablet, using a terrible microphone that made the recording almost unusable. For the price they charged, this was yet another slap in the face. The graveside service was equally disrespectful, rushed through in less than 15 minutes with no regard for the deceased or the grieving family. It felt like we were just another transaction, and they couldn't wait to move on to the next one. On top of everything, we were told there would be no interest on the debt for my mother-in-law's services. But now we find out they are charging an outrageous 18% interest, adding to our financial burden and completely going against what we were promised. This deception is yet another example of their unethical behavior. This mortuary has caused us immense pain, both emotionally and financially. If you are looking for a funeral home that prioritizes compassion, dignity, and respect, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. No family should have to endure what we've been through.
