Cabrillo Beach Bike Path has outstanding views, a flat pathway and always mild weather year round. Looking for a 7-mile bike ride? It starts at the East Beach volleyball courts, ride to Stella Mare's, turnaround, ride to Leadbetter Beach and then return to the East Beach volley ball courts. Do be careful while riding. The tourist can make the bike path unsafe as they take their selfies standing on the pathways unaware of others. Enjoy the scenic ride!

This is one of my all time favorite spots in Santa Barbara. No matter the weather, the views are always breathtaking. Up, down, side to side - The palms, the ocean, and the mountains are all in eyesight's viewing. I love walking, biking, running, and taking pictures while strolling down the Cabrillo Beach Bike Path. You can either pay and park in one of the lots or do temporary free parking along the street. Parking is definitely not an issue. Some also like to come tie their hammocks to a tree and read a book or maybe set up a slack line and test your balance. Really the opportunities are endless! *Tourists: This is a very spacious, totally free, and dramatically beautiful place to come hangout, have a picnic, take pictures, and make a nice (affordable) day out of it.

Path goes through the Santa Barbara Harbor area.

It is a nicely maintained path with beautiful views, can be a bit crowded of course considering it's in the main area of Santa Barbara.

Very pleasant path for the family to ride along. It can get a bit more crowded near the pier, but otherwise a great activity!

Shoreline Park is a gem for anyone seeking peaceful surroundings . The park offers stunning views…read moreof the ocean, with plenty of grassy areas perfect for picnics or lounging. I love coming here for walks and soaking up the panoramic views of the coastline. Benches are stationed throughout the park to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, some areas have been gated off for safety reasons due to the foundation of the hillside. If you want to venture down to the beach, just look for the wooden archway. The stairway will lead you down to the shoreline. Occasionally high tides won't allow you to venture down, so just be aware of that. The beach itself is rocky, and sometimes full of debris so bring comfy shoes! This spot is ideal for families, walkers, and even solo relaxation. I recommend bringing a small bag for special sea treasures that you may find during your visit. I always enjoy looking for sea shells, sea glass and heart shaped rocks. The rock formations here are always breathtaking during low tides so be sure to bring a camera or have your phone fully charged. Overall, Shoreline Park is my top favorite in town and a must-visit for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. It's also a dog friendly park, so bring your fur baby as well.
