I was greeted by a couple (who I'm assuming are the owners) and a lady (who I'm assuming is their friend). All sweet, talented and friendly people. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and to my surprise it was whatever I wanted to pay as they claim to be a nonprofit organization. They are really just lovely folks and the coffee was great. The setting was almost antique like, with Christian books for sale and instruments as the owner played for me. I am definitely coming back! I highly recommend.

This south location seems to offer a wider selection of products than the original location. There's so much that similar between the norte (north) & sur (south) stores. They offer similar selections of products and most of the familiar departments from the norte store have made it to the sur location: attractive stands of fresh fruits and veggies, bakery, meat, seafood, & home goods. This location does not, however, have the restaurant inside like the norte location. I had the pleasure recently of having to go to both locations in the same day and I can safely say I prefer the layout and selection at Feria Latina Sur. I enjoy shopping here every so often. You can really tell everything is baked fresh that morning. The textures are spot on--soft, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their drink menu is near-perfection. Both the Milk Tea and Thai Tea taste incredibly authentic, which is hard to find around here. They aren't just sugar-bombs; you can actually taste the quality of the tea. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is a safety concern for those with allergies. Unlike Tous Les Jours, which clearly lists ingredients/allergens by each pastry, 85°C is a bit more vague at the display. As someone who has to be careful about what's in my food, I'd love to see them adopt a more transparent labeling system so I don't have to guess or ask for every item. There seems to be a lot of variety at first glance, but if you look closely, it's mostly the same bread--lots of red bean. On the plus side, there's lots of natural light and plenty of seating (at least when it's not busy). Overall, a bit disappointed. The prices lured us in, but this won't be a routine stop for us.
