In the years of traveling to Cabo and renting jet skis, paddle boards, etc, we have never experienced the terrible treatment that we had with Cabo SUP. I DO NOT recommend using any of their services. We made a deal with Daniel for jet ski rental. We confirmed the deal with him and two others before we left. They made us come back in early, refusing to uphold the deal. They refused to refund any portion of our money for the time we were robbed. The service was terrible. I would never rent from, or recommend anyone rent from them, ever unless you want to be lied to and stolen from. They give Cabo, beach vendors, and treatment of tourist a bad name...it is shameful! read more

Our guide was so patient and encouraging. We had never done this before. I was surprised at how easy it actually was, with his guidance, to stand up and paddle. He took us to a beautiful early morning view of the arch with no one else around. We enjoyed lover's beach (and divorce beach) putting the first footsteps of the day in the soft sand. Then he took us over to pelican rock for some snorkeling -- just a quick trip around the rock but great views and so many colorful fish -- and then out of the corner of my eye I saw a beautiful parade of mobula rays passing by -- something I was hoping to see on this trip but hadn't been able to find so far. Then back on the paddleboards for our trip back to the beach -- this time a little more difficult as the winds were picking up and I definitely had to work hard to keep going in the right direction -- our guide suggested tips to help us and always had a calm and upbeat tone about him. We were surprised by sea turtles swimming alongside us and then amazingly some of the mobula rays leapt out of the water right in front of us. What a great activity to squeeze in on our last day in Cabo before going to the airport. Highly recommend and hope to do the exact same activity again with Cabo SUP. read more

Just had my excursion and loved it! Did paddle boarding, first time and it was hard. I stood three times and fell. Lol you can paddle board sitting down. The beach house is right on Medrano Beach....beautiful skyline view. Relaxing. We took a princess cruise and took a tender to the port from the port you have to take a water taxi to Medano Beach, about five minutes away. The instructor was very nice. Note, there are no private lockers just one very big public one that you share and the staff locks. read more

This place is awesome! They are very helpful with every activity on the beach. We did paddle boarding this last trip and it was a great experience. We go twice a year and will not be using anyone else but Cabo SUP from here on out. read more

Not sure I'd go back out with this company. I was willing to pay their expensive fee of $110 for a guided tour because there were some great reviews of "Gunther" and the photos showed a collection of very nice gear! We also wanted to go early in the day to avoid boat traffic and they offered 7 and 8am tours. There was tons of confusion on the booking. I almost booked a New Year's Day trip online, but we happened to be walking past the SUR beach house and spoke to one of their crew who said they weren't getting up early on January 1st for tours, even though the booking was open online. So I gave him a small cash deposit for the 2nd to hold our place. Then I got an email from Meredith saying I could book on the 1st. But after explaining what happened, she said to just book on the 2nd. So I submitted the rest of the fees online to her. Late on the 1st she sent another email saying that we couldn't go early due to a conflict? So we would have to go at 9:45 am. This was very disappointing because 9:45am on the weekend is extremely busy on the water. But it was our last day so we took it. Showed up at 9:30 to find no one there. Then finally a crew member came and said we had to wait for the previous tour to come back because they only had 4 boards (not the huge collection in their pictures!) and we had 4 paddlers, so we waited until 10 when they finally came in. These 4 boards were the most beat up broken down boards I've ever seen with life jackets that barely buckled once. Paddles couldn't be adjusted. I couldn't stand up because my paddle was too short. Nowhere on the boards to take gear with you (we had our own snorkel gear- hoping to strap it to our boards.) So our guide took out a kayak and took our gear for us. He paddled straight for the arch. Hardly ever looked back and never waited for us in either direction. Lucky for us we are experienced paddlers and were able to stay with our kids and catch up. We loved the paddle and had a great time snorkeling, but in hindsight it was only due to the amazing scenery and our ability to paddle and bring our own snorkel gear! Not much to do with this company at all. Paddling during the heavy boat traffic was very stressful. There was no time to put your paddle down for a second and enjoy a moment on the water, nor get super good pics at the arc because so many boats were coming in and out. Wanted to leave a detailed review in case anyone is considering this. Don't let them say "doesn't sound like our crew". I have the online receipt and emails to prove otherwise. Edit: thanks for your reply below. Means something for sure to take responsibility and acknowledge less than ideal circumstances. Meredith was also good at communicating. Awesome SUP tour with Gunther! This guy loves what he does and delivers top-notch customer service. If you dont think you can SUP, dont worry! You can kneel or sit like I did and you will be very satisfied with your experience! We had a leisurly paddle past million dollar yachts as we made our way out to Lands End, past Lover's Beach and to the arch. He took photos and video that he is emailing to us at NO EXTRA COST! We learned about the seasonal effects on the landscape and heard stories about Cabo over the years. A quick snokle fish-feed and a refreshing dip and we headed back toward land. We felt totally cared for, safe and we felt like family with Gunther. 10s across the board!!! read more

Cabo Sup is full of crooks. We got completely scammed. We went on a banana boat ride organized by them, and the boat pretended to act broken while out at sea. We sat for 15 minutes doing nothing. The boat went a couple hundred feet, stopped and flipped us off in front of the beaches. When they took us back, we tried to say the boat was broken and we needed another one. The boaters persisted to say "no, we did our job they drove all around." Cabo sup then said "we will get you another, wait 15 minutes". We wait, and wait, and wait. Finally they say come back at 5:30. When we return, they are closed. The banana boat we were on previously comes, picks up another group and laughs in our faces as the last guy from Cabo sup tells us he can't help us. I have been to Cabo for 20 years, gone on the bananas and never felt so scammed by an actual company. Do NOT use Cabo Sup!! read more

Cabo SUP / Rip-off / Beware / I paid the full ($25) price for an hour paddle board and within 15 mins we got rain - wind & blown off the water . They refused a partial refund or to reschedule . These guys don't care about customer service, only getting the $$ out of your pocket . They had loads of attitude and pretty much just acted like we should leave . Tell your friends and family. I highly recommend Cabo Sup!! We did the guided tour. They took us to see El Arco, the sea lion colony and we did some snorkeling too. They even took pics of us while we were out there Gunther & his team were friendly, and they really made sure we were taken care of. Don't miss out! read more

This was by far the worst water-sports experience I have ever been a part of. First of all, it's a major rip off, you'll find much more appropriately priced water sports along the coast, with much better service and quality. Secondly, using a paddle board, they will send you out there regardless of weather safety and review of the current, myself and my family found ourselves adrift almost 500 yards away from the designated zone. Upon asking for help from the same company's wave runner employees on the water, they declined and continued to laugh or tell me that I have not paid so they won't help bring me in. Afterward, when expressing my concern, they began to tell me that it was my fault for not knowing the safety boundaries, and proceeded to take 0 responsibility for allowing their equipment to be used in unfathomably dangerous conditions. If you're looking for safety and a fun experience, this is the single worst water-sports company you can visit in Cabo, however, if you're practicing for an Olympic rowing competition, do allow this company to facilitate your training. read more

I used Cabo SUP based on a 5 star recommendation on another site. Highly recommend- we paddled out early in the morning while it was calm from the public beach toward the arch. Lee, the owner, saw a couple of our group not on their feet and paddled out to help. He also gave a short lesson on the sand before we started. Once he saw we were good we were on our way! We also spent the day at SUR beach club where we launched the SUPs that day- great food and service. After visiting other spots on the public beach it is our new favorite! read more

Did the guided tour with Gunther. I highly recommend, these guys are awesome. He thought the water would be too cold to snorkel so early in the am and let us come back later for a free boat ride back out. Took some awesome pictures for us and brought some tortillas for a feeding frenzy. read more

Had such a great experience with Cabo Sup! The waves were too strong for us to finish our 2 hour rental, so They picked us up on the boat, gave us a short tour, and let us stay at the beach club the rest of the day. Gunther was amazing and so kind. read more
