Started planning our whole kitchen reno a year in advance. Had our cabinets picked out, had one of the associated help with the design and layout of our kitchen. Hardware was ordered before I had been asked to confirm. I was shocked to find out that it had already been ordered. We never finalized handles versus knobs and what we wanted where. Unfortunately, their layout and product all have random numbers assigned to them making it difficult for us homeowners to "check" that everything is correct. Ultimately, we were not provided with the correct pieces to finish out kitchen. We had to do multiple additional orders to get everything we needed (quarter round, molding, hardware, etc). The quality of the cabinets is as expected, not fantastic but not god awful. 2 of our drawers do not funtion properly and we were essentially told that they were out of warranty and they could not help us. Overall, not impressed and would likely not order from them again without going in with the intention of picking every single piece of cabinetry, filler, molding, etc, myself. Like someone else said in their review - "they will do anything to get your business upfront but as soon as you have an issue afterwards, you are on your own." I bought a large bathroom vanity this summer (2024). The sales person Kaitlin P. was very pleasant and helpful as we ordered a specialty insert to add heating element storage requiring a different drawer on one side so it would fit. There were also ceiling cabinets that would be installed in a way that they'd sit on the counter top. She'd printed out a mock up of what it would look like and the set up was $2800 instead of the $6,000 I'd be quoted elsewhere. It arrived in time-fast forward 5 months, a missing plumber and a stroke in the family and we are finally installing the sink. The countertop does not fit with the ceiling cabinets and the bottom drawer will not fit the heating element. I go to the store with my elderly father, see her at the same desk, and start to explain what happened. She cut me off and was so unbelievably rude I immediately look to my left to see if the store manager that had been there this summer was there, he was not because she is now the store manager. She was a completely different person and no matter what the store policy is there is no reason to talk to people like that especially since I didn't come in with an attitude nor did I develop one despite the way she was speaking. She said through gritted teeth it was the "stores fault" (actually hers because she is literally the person that ordered it) but it was too late from time of sale so she'd call the corporate customer service line to see what could be done. I had initially walked in thinking "Oh good, it's that same helpful person from this summer. She'll help fix her mistake." But she turned into a completely different human being that shouldn't be in a position of customer service if she's going to behave that way unprovoked. I received an email a couple days later from her that was very professional but of course the cabinet could not be returned and the sink could only be returned with a restocking fee. It wasn't that I'm out the cost of that cabinet and have to figure out a replacement counter- there's no discount or any acknowledgment from a store manager because of this two mistakes she made on one order. It's one thing to be inexperienced and make mistakes (we've all done that) and quite another to speak in a way to your customer that makes them and the other store employees within earshot all raise their eyebrows because that interaction is so shocking. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary especially when you're in charge of the store and should be the example of how to behave. If you order any cabinets from this location, make sure your salesperson knows what they're doing, DO NOT ASSUME they were ordered correctly (check them at the store), and if you have to speak to the store manager: gird your loins because it might get ugly. read more

I previously posted a negative review after having a very frustrating, nonproductive conversation with "customer care" regarding two damaged panels I needed to have replace immediately to maintain my scheduled cabinet installation. My opinion of customer care has not changed. Corporate Cabinets To Go needs to reassess their approach to customer service and allow the individual store the ability to make things right, not send their customers to a call center for resolution, but to the store where they can receive personalized service. That being said, regardless what the policy is, that personalized service was demonstrated by the store manager, Chris, at Cabinets to Go in Manchester. Acknowledging the need to resolve the issue quickly, he took the time to locate replacement panels and had them available to me in 24 hours. I recently purchased cabinets in the Rochelle Park store and dealt with Jim McGrath. I was bringing them to my house in Maine and worked everything out in the NJ store. I couldn't ask for better service. It took us approximately 30 mins to figure out what I needed and get a price. I informed him I would like to pick them up at a location near Rt 95 on my way up. He told me that would not be an issue. He was rite. Jim had them shipped to Manchester NH where I picked them up. The store manager Tom Foley and sales Associate Allan Gibbs both called me up to assure me that my complete order had arrived and all my cabinets were their. The day I arrived both gentlemen were waiting and had all my cabinets by the loading dock. We went over the list and both help me load them into my trailer. This place was fantastic! They absolutely went above and beyond any of our expectations for cabinetry. They provided us excellent cabinets and countertops at a fraction of the cost we were able to find anywhere else. The quality of the cabinets is top-notch, with all hardwood, plywood, and no particleboard. They gave us answers when we needed them, and lived up to their promises. We installed about 15 feet of wall cabinetry and a 6 x 6 foot island. We topped it with all hardwood butcher block counter tops. It looks fantastic and works wonderfully. We've been recommending them to our friends who are in the building trades. The cabinets were easy to build. My wife and I did them all ourselves in a matter of a few hours. I wish I would've discovered this place a couple of years ago, it would've speeded up my kitchen remodel by quite a bit! read more

I know that two other reviews show a 5 star rating and that might be more the norm. However, I called up twice during the week to talk to someone about coming in for an appointment. We told both times that they were working with a customer and would have to call me back. Neither time did that work out as I had planned. The sales guy was rude, abrupt and not sympathetic that HE had dropped the ball on me the times I had called during the week. When I went to the store on 9/17/16 people were standing around because the salesman was nowhere to be seen. When he appeared he seemed flustered. In waiting, spoke to a few other customers and found out that hinges are upgrades not offered through the store and that Home Depot is where you need to go. WHAT!?!? Well, after seeing no possibility of getting the complex help I wanted it was time to leave and waste a ton of my time. To whom it may Concern, Very disappointed with the service at the Manchester NH store. This is the short story, My wife and I went in and sat down with Felina, after placing our order and paying for it in full she told us 3 to 4 weeks they would be in for pickup. (I manage construction schedules all the time) after calling every couple of days they finally came in and it took close to 6 weeks. There goes my Schedule. Ok so now we find out I'm missing 3 Cabinets, 2 other cabinets we didn't order and the wrong Tray and Trash pull outs. 3 Cabinets are missing because between Felina and Tom (manager) they didn't think we really wanted them even though I signed the order and paid for them in full at the time the order was placed. The 2 extra cabinets, I'm not sure why those were ordered. So when I bring them back she tells me there will be a restocking fee of like $50. I tell her I'm not paying it. She said they won't charge me and it will basically going to be bury in the cost of the 3 cabinets they took off my order. What a complete SHIT SHOW.... So with them Removing, Adding and Discounting Cabinets I'm still not sure what these cabinets are Costing me even though I PAID FOR MY ORDER IN FULL AT THE TIME IT WAS ORDERED. I ordered my cabinets from the Victoria Ivory line and fell in love with them as soon as I saw them the sales man was quick to greet me and advise me he would be with me in a few seconds as he was busy with another person. When I had ordered my cabinets I was assured they would be correct. I went back 1 1/2 drive to be sure. Wrong cabinets were ordered so I talked to the sales representative Jason. He said he would fix the order. Two weeks later I relievers call saying cabinets were all set. I asked Jason to verify they were correct(this was on Friday). He called back and said no they weren't but the correct ones would shipped out and available Tuesday. I went Thursday to find out cabinets were still in correct and then had to listen to him say it was someone else's fault and his attitude was not his problem. Tom questioned him on it. Tom then sent him back to his desk and proceeded to apologize and immediately jumped in to resolve our issue. He explained that he wasn't sure how many of the cabinets were available and he would do what he could. He reworked the layout then we went to the warehouse and look for stray cabinets. My wife and I met the gentleman who receives the cabinets in. They both checked all around as well as looked up orders that were old and hadn't been picked up. Called on those orders and between doing that and ordering the cabinets available helped resolve our issue. Do to the 2 1/2 hours of this I regained my trust with this company. Most companies would be apologetic and move on or just say the cabinets are no longer available. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They have multiple mistakes. Was told cabinets would be in a week, four weeks later we called and he said oh whoops I forgot to press send. Cabinets came in a week later. When we picked them up they told us our trash cabinet was on backorder. We checked all the cabinets to our order form, went home and assembled them all. Realized we had two sets of cabinets that were not in our diagram. Went back again to be told it was my fault because I opened the box. Finally forced him to admit he sold us two sets of extra cabinets that he did not use in our diagram. Guy said too bad and I left there crying. They called after to say they would exchange them. He told my husband he would call him and let him know if there was a price difference and they would get new cabinets ordered. Well he never called and after weeks we called again and was told our cabinets have been sitting there since Monday and someone should have called us but oh well. Again, no apologies whatsoever. I wanted glass door cabinets and did a diagram with him showing glass doors and yet the cabinets we just picked up are not. I cannot stress this enough: this is the absolute worst company you will ever deal with. We went with them to save money but we should have stayed away. read more

Well the cabinet quality is great......the management and the contractors are terrible. I waited a long time to see if they would make it right ....but they did not, so here is my gripe. Ordered my cabinets in December 2014....some finally came in 3 months later than promised and then the rest came in 3 weeks later. My kitchen contents in my living room for 2 months..... Tom Foley, salesman, assured me that his installer Keith Higginbottom of Pelham would do the best job. Not only is Tom Foley the worst person to deal with in customer service, he also lies for his contractors. Keith Higginbottom is a HACK, ruined my counter tops by putting a screw in the top of a butcher block counter, told me to cover it up with 3/4 in round (professional), cut the refrigerator panel crooked and then told me it was the floor that was crooked (straight line on fridge doesn't lie), cuts sheetrock with a sawzall (because he is lazy and a hack) When I emailed Tom Foley about my concerns, he then fowarded the email to the Higginbottom (professional)...who had not finished the install yet, making for a very awkward situation. 3 weeks went by until theI felt so intimidated by him that I made my son stay home with me so Higginbottom could install the crooked refrigerator panel Did I mention that I had to buy another piece of butcher block counter and have a real contractor come in and cut it properly and hook up my dishwasher that Higginbottom was supposed to do. Manager Sean assured me that they would refund me some money or get someone out here to fix it. They have done neither and my kitchen remains unfinished. I should have pressed charges for theft of services when Higginbottom didn't return my countertops. Instead, I just went and bought another piece so I wouldn't have to deal with any of them.
