Love them both but they were driving me insane! Donald came and has had several sessions with us. So far we've noticed significant progress! His house manners are now amazing with no more worrying about him stealing food from anyone even when it drops to the floor he waits for us. Jojo is very experienced helping dogs and their owners and his experience really shows. The trainer has been not there really ever, giving one million different excuses each time, but he never completed the training. The problem isn't even entirely her the REAL problem is that we have been trying to get refunded for this lack of services (approx 200 dollars) for literal months and no one there has been of any help. Management has been either presented as terrible or non existent, and today when she had went in to talk the manager (who's schedule she had to ask for because every single other time she had gone she was just told "sorry! the manager isn't here so we cant help") he offered to check on her issue, said he couldn't find anything, and then went to get lunch. Tried calling the corporate line to file a complaint, and they told me that I couldn't because we are not married. As of the date of my posting June 29th 2026, we still have not received the refund (again for 200 dollars) we have been trying to get since March.

I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. We were having trouble trying to help him adjust from living in the south on a large property to living in a one bedroom apartment with cats and a smaller back yard. We were set up with our trainer, Jim, he educated us on how to handle Keiko properly (from basic obedience to different enrichment), build a better bridge of communication and help with his confidence. Our last session Keiko even decided he was going to try one of the obstacles from maximum K9's agility course (no prompting from us) shocking both me and my fiancé. Safe to say Keiko loves Maximum K9 as much as we do . Since our training we have been able to do so much more and get Keiko better involved in our activities (which we know he loves). They also have so many great treats, toys, and training tools for those at varying levels in their store portion.
