I hired the Cabana Boys for a private party and they were fantastic. Very entertaining, good stage volume and great music!

We booked DJ Big Daddy Ray for our wedding after my dad had told me he'd seen Ray DJ for a company…read moreevent. He said Ray's equipment sounded great and he was very upbeat. My dad was not wrong. Ray has the best personality, knows how to keep everyone out on the dance floor, and he reads the crowd perfectly to select the next song. He was always offering us hints, tips, and ideas. I loved the way he raffled off the centerpieces to the person at the table with the oldest car. They were all laughing and it was something new besides "who 's been married the longest!" Ray was also helpful and accommodating with our entrance songs and the last dance suggestions. I really couldn't have been more pleased. Rob Peter's prices were very competitive with other companies, but we chose them because I felt very confident and comfortable with Ray!

ROB PETERS ROCKS! (literally)! Suffice to say, they will do all my events from this point on until…read moreone of us croaks first... Why? When selecting a DJ/entertainment for our family and friends festivity/elopement bash, I interviewed a SIGNIFICANT number of vendors. I found most of them to be WAY over priced and "sleezy"/ snake oil sales people. Rob Peters fit the "down to earth, love people/children, have a heart accommodating and reasonable" bill I was looking for. The chemistry was instant and I was hooked. My guests are still sending me emails raving about the food, cake AND the DJ!! (we may even consider flying him to Florida for a March event if we can get him cheap tickets!!!). The entire experience with Rob is stress free, interactive and he is very open minded. Above all, you will find them to be EXTREMELY professional, sophisticated without the "stuck up" / prissy attitude of many in the entertainment industry... They literally were the life of my party and had a great selection of latino music to make sure all my latinos had enough beat for their bones!

I went to see The Lion King and it was fabulous! The theater is small enough to capture the details without binoculars or an additional screen. The music was captivating. The colors were vivid. The storyline was familiar, and the characters were great. I would absolutely go back to PPAC to watch this play, and looking forward to other plays coming later this year and next year.

I was excited to see that the Lion King was playing at the Providence Performing Arts Center! The theater is very easy to get to and there is a ton of parking nearby. Admissions was swift and not crowded - they definitely are organized and know how to keep the traffic moving. They sell various snacks and some are even locally made like the popcorn I bought. The venue itself is beautiful, especially the theater. The seats are as you would expect - velvety and small. The sound and lights were great. I really enjoyed the show. I will say that at times, I felt distracted - it seemed like the audience was louder than I expected - especially with the snack bags. Oh well, what can you do At intermission the women's bathroom was a little bit of a you know what. But this seems to be a common problem with older theaters. Regardless, I had a great time and would def come back to see another show!
